Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

Hi thunder I'm tired and hormonal and my nipples hurt. well you did ask dd2 hasn't been sleeping, guess who has to get up, DH stroppy for various reasons, and I had a massive strop with him last night because I had to get up for dd2 again, and I have to meet him in town this afternoon in the middle of my sleepy-time as I've named it. Grumble grumble grumble.

Thundercatsarego · 29/09/2012 21:45

Hey frus, so...did you have time to walk the dog and ogle watch the dr?

FrustratedSycamorePants · 29/09/2012 21:52

Yeah thanks thunder, yummy Chinese takeaway, dog walked, and back in time to ogle the doctor. didn't bawl my eyes out was very close, may do if I watch it on replay I'm very brave. Wink

How has you day been? Have you done anything nice or more exciting than pay the rent ?

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 29/09/2012 22:18

Oo good you sound a bit more cheery this afternoon.

Yeah I had a good day too thanks, visited friends, did a bit of fun shopping, out for lunch, a walk in the woods and a cuddle with my lovely nephew.

I'm really enjoying days when I'm distracted from the whole pg thing at the moment. Just feel a bit like stepping back from the symptoms etc at the mo. don't know what that's all about!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 29/09/2012 22:28

Step away from the symptoms. Hmm I don't know actually, it's probably normal. I'm finding it hard to let them go, esp after SS obsessively during ttc.
Ooh walk in wood sounds lovely, is your nephew little?

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 29/09/2012 22:33

Yes, one is just two and the other is 4 weeks. Just saw the toddler today though, he's absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah I need to find some good woods to walk in nearer my house, we have a lot of fields here but woods are great for a stomp with the dog!

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 03:15

Hi bringonthetrumpets! It gives me faith to hear that you see women go through labour pain everyday but yet still want a baby :-) it must be very hard for you to keep your news secret at work! Do you have to tell people sooner due to the nature of your job?

All this talk of walking is making me want to go for a walk...best not at 3am eh! Oohhh how I love insomnia and vivid dreams! Dreamt that DH told me that my skinny legs were now getting fat...had to wake him up to check if this was true...he was not best pleased Blush

FrustratedSycamorePants · 30/09/2012 07:31

I had a weird vivid dream last night. Can't remember it now. goldfish memory strikes but when I woke up I had to remind myself that it was a dream.

thunder I have woods, but I have to drive to them, and there's so many dog walkers there, my dog doesn't have the best recall, so a bit mean having to leash him all the time, some people don't like hyper labs lonely isolated cliff walks with the occasional dog walker is much more enjoyable for all involved.

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 30/09/2012 08:59

Grin pear about waking DH up re skinny legs.

frus yes I would gladly swap cliffs for woods too, especially if you don't have to drive to them, how lovely. It must be very therapeutic being able to walk with the sea view. I don't have any, which is ironic because I live in a rural place, I've just managed to choose a part of town that isn't in good walking distance of nice walks. D'oh.

Everyone feeling less grumpy today? I'm scoffing nibbling ginger biscuits in bed to see if they help the gagging thing. We'll see.....

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 09:47

6+5 and still no sign of MS so I guess I should be happy about that :-)

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 13:06

Well I've just had a totally unnecessary meltdown! Close friends came over for dinner two weeks ago and brought us posh chocolates. I caved in this morning and ate 5. I felt sick almost instantly, they tasted off. God knows why I kept eating them was starving! Anyway, checked Best Before Date and yep they went off last month. Grrrrr it makes me angry when people do that! It's so obvious they were given them and then just brought them over. She's pregnant so she probably didn't want them herself!! So naturally I had a major panic attack and phones DH at work. He managed to calm me down a bit and I managed to bring up two of the chocolates. Have googled like mad and from what I've read I don't think I've done damage to little p. I know I'm being very silly :-(

bringonthetrumpets · 30/09/2012 18:17

Yes peardrop I actually love being pregnant and giving birth. :) I'm really hoping I'm not jinxing myself with #3 because my first two were so wonderful and easy. My little secret got out whilst at the birth. My preceptor and the other assisting midwife asked me if I thought of having anymore little ones in the future and I could feel my face turn beet red! I confessed and they both were so excited and were asking about symptoms and conception dates and how I found out.... (must be a midwife thing) so it was pretty fun to talk about it.

Sorry to hear about the chocolates. That's just rude to give someone your old food.... yuck. No worries, your little one is perfectly happy and growing and has not received any bad chocolates from you :)

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 18:51

Oh *bringonthetrumpets' that is so exciting that you got to share it in the 'baby environement'! I bet it gave you a warm fuzzy feeling! Thank you for telling me that baby is OK, always reassuring to hear! It was a silly panic attack but I'm a first mum so that is my excuse Blush

kittykatskumkwat · 30/09/2012 19:47

Ahh pear just want to wrap you up in a hug most of the time ha ha
Ofcourse they wouldn't have done any harm I eat out of date food all the time chocolate lasts for ages after sell by date I just think its a shame if they tasted bad, in truth most if the food issues with pregnancy are only really if it makes you Ill with food poisoning etc
I've been run ragged today, dh at work and a christening and dd has not stoped walking the whole time, this is the first time I've sat down all day in a lovely hot bath ( yes that's right I break that rule too Grin )

FrustratedSycamorePants · 30/09/2012 20:02

There's a rule against hot baths kitty really? Shit, I've had hot baths with both dds, and just had a lovely hot bath tonight. Sod that for a stoopid rule.

OP posts:
kittykatskumkwat · 30/09/2012 20:29

I know it's a VERY stupid rule, I ignored it last time too, I think it's only to do with raising blood pressure but mine is low anyway so hey ho

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 21:15

Umm I've been having cold/Luke warm baths...god I really am a first time mum Grin Blush

FrustratedSycamorePants · 30/09/2012 21:19

[Hmm] Not sure I've ever had a Luke warn bath. IMO a Luke warm bath is not pampering yourself. And isn't pregnancy a good reason excuse to pamper yourself?

OP posts:
kittykatskumkwat · 30/09/2012 21:33

Couldn't agree more Grin I had jacuzzi last time too ha ha

peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 21:40

I know, I know but as its my first time to be a loopy pregnant women I don't eat certain things, drink alcohol, lift heavy shopping bags or take hot baths. I'm sure not sure at all I'll be different with dc2!!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 30/09/2012 21:41

Mmm jacuzzi does that rule hot-tubs out then?

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamorePants · 30/09/2012 21:43

Seriously pear I had no idea about the hot bath rule. I don't do the other stuff either well except the heavy shopping bags/large non walking child, but my back is stuffed either way

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 30/09/2012 21:58

Frus that's because you haven't got time to read all the books on my bedside table Wink I'm sure you remember pregnancy no1 in the far far distance Grin

IBelieveInPink · 30/09/2012 22:20

Hey ladies. Well I think I have missed an entire weekend, have spent the whole time sleeping! Not keen on the idea of work tomorrow.
Lols at the difference between first timers an not. I am also first timer and getting kinda sick of 'warm' baths!
Anyone got anything exciting coming up this week? Getting bored of waiting now, can't wait for the next bit, appointments, scans, yay!
