I'm ok, thanks for asking. I've had a bit of pinky brown tinged mucous today (sorry for the tmi but who knows, it might be helpful to someone) but nothing dramatic thank god. I tried to take it easy today but we had to do the food shop, I got dp to push the trolley as it was packed and had both kids in it too. I bought a cb digital test with a conception indicator, it's saying pregnant 1-2 weeks (so 3-4 weeks total) nice and reassuring to see it in print after all that squinting at faint lines on cheapo test strips!

How's everyone else doing? Any morning sickness yet?

olimoss · 06/10/2012 18:19

No real morning sickness at all - my mum reckons she didn't suffer it so I might get lucky. I'm utterly knackered by about 2pm every day though, and starting to find smells a bit strong.

Anyone else the same?

DontmindifIdo · 06/10/2012 18:44

James - sounds good - try to get as much rest as possible (I know, I know, not actually possible once you've got other DCs).

Also not proper morning sickness, but feeling a bit 'icky' mid morning, like i'd been sick IYSWIM. I didn't get any morning sickness with DS so I'm hoping I get away with it again...

I'm so so tired today. DS lost his monkey at 3am (it was under the covers at the foot of his bed), then decided at 5am my our bed was more comfy so climbed in, then all over me, DH slept throught all of this. DH had to work today so I took DS to a soft play place, I did get to sit down but the flip side is I now have a stinking softplay headache (what is it about the acostics in those places?). Really wish I could have a couple of nurofen. And gin.

X factor and strictly sober isn't going to be anywhere near as much fun...

DontmindifIdo · 06/10/2012 18:46

Oh. My. God. I've just realised. We are going to have to be cold stone sober at Eurovision. it's only fun if you're trollied.

TheBakersWife · 06/10/2012 18:49

Hello all, just so we can see that list again, Wink can I introduce myself, here comes baby #3, EDD 12 June but have a habit of being v late! Completely surprised to find out and still feeling somewhat shocked, when I can stay awake that is! Lovely to meet you ladies!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 06/10/2012 19:51

Welcome bakerswife, you sound like me, on 3rd baby and always late! I'm due approx the 11th, we can have a battle of "who can get the most overdue" if you like. I'm telling mil everyone that I'm due end of June so I don't get as many "have you had it yet?" phonecalls. I was ready to headbutt people by 11 days overdue... Grin

Dillydollydaydream · 06/10/2012 19:53

Hi. I'm quietly lurking at the moment. I had a mc in April and periods have been irregular since then. Im 8 days later than longest cycle,I poas this eve and bfp! I'm about 5 ish weeks maybe more. I'm nervous and won't be able to relax til after the 12wk scan.

sazzlepink · 06/10/2012 20:08

Hiya!! I'm new to mumsnet so trying to figure out how the chats and groups work! Im 33 expecting number 2, DS1 is 4yrs old. I found out Tuesday and not due on til Monday so very early CB digi has moved up today to 2-3wks so thats good. Feel a little icky but other than that keep forgetting i'm pg!! Hope to get to know you all better :-)

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 06/10/2012 20:11

I went 18 days overdue. So 42+4 Hell

do i win? This time will be ELCS or induction at 38 weeks

DontmindifIdo · 06/10/2012 20:22

hello the bakers wife, Dillydolly and Sazzlepink! (I'm refusing to touch the list now, feel free to copy and paste with your details.)

TheBakersWife · 06/10/2012 22:48

Lovely welcome thanks all. james when I was 42 weeks pg with ds I told a mum at school to off when she asked yet again if I was 'still here' then I was mortified and went ahead with the planned induction - was a really horrible cow in last 2 pg's, dh is not looking forward to more of that! cereal 18 days??? That must have been hellish.

TheBakersWife · 06/10/2012 22:50

Grin mumsnet won't even publish my pg obscenities obviously!

DontmindifIdo · 07/10/2012 08:45

well, last night I had a very vivid nightmare that I was having a miscarriage. I've been feeling most unsettled this morning so far.

Can I just say sorry in advance, I'm going to be like this until 12 weeks at least, you're going to have to listen to me stress for 2 months. I know, this isn't going to be fun for anyone. Feel free to skip over my posts....

Sorry, just realised I hadn't put in baby # on mine.
How's everyone else feeling? I've still got a week to go before my GP appointment, but feeling fine. Feeling much less tired now it's the weekend so dreading tomorrow and going back to work! Does anyone know if pilates is safe during early pregnancy (normal pilates, not antenatal pilates?)

ella0 · 07/10/2012 11:46

dont mind that's horrible, hope you're ok. Don't worry, I am exactly the same, I have been worrying so much for the past couple of days.

Here, you don't even call the midwife until 7wks. I've left my details at the doctors and received a pregnancy pack, but it seems like it'll be a few weeks until I see anyone.

I think we're going to have an early scan in a couple of weeks, to hopefully put my mind at rest.

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 07/10/2012 13:27

dont mind I had very very vivid dreams in my first pregancy and would wake up convinced something had happened. Lots of positive thinking.

I'm also wondering about Pilates (normal) but jury is still out. Once I reach 12 weeksI will start either AN yoga or Pilates. Don't know which is best, I may not have a VB so it's about improving stomach muscles and making the pg as easy as possible.

We don't book in until 9/10 weeks here which seems much much later that most areas.

dreamydays · 07/10/2012 18:39

Welcome bakerswife, dillydolly, sazzle!

Poor you don'tmind, hope you're feeling more confident. Am with you in the worry boat.

EddieIzzardIsOrange · 07/10/2012 19:06

God I am sick. 6 weeks exactly today and the throwing up has started with a vengence, cant keep anything down, feel like retching all the time. Was like this with DS from 9-35 weeks so knew it was possible to feel this shite but didnt expect it quite so early....

Add in zombie tiredness and boobs that feel like they've been cheese grated and I am a miserable whingy boot today!

Saw the midwife about 2 weeks ago and got green notes and bloods done, she's coming for a house visit and more questions this Friday and then a scan the Friday afterwards...maybe they're just on the ball round here as all that will be before 8 weeks? Or they're just being cautious due to pregnancy from hell last time....

May ask for drugs on Friday, cannot comtemplate being as sick again, especially with a toddler now (see told you i was being a whingy boot!)

Hows everyone else? How you doing James?

DontmindifIdo · 07/10/2012 20:16

thanks for the nice words - spent the day at the zoo today (can't work out if DS or Dh had more fun...) and feeling a lot more positive.

BTW - Father's day is 16th June in 2013 - so DH will be getting 2 cards next year (assuming this one sticks!) and looking at the list, most of the babies should be with us by then, that's really rather a cute thought!

Eddie - if it helps, most of my friends who had terrible morning sickness the first time round were better the second, so hopefully you'll be better soon. All i can say is start bulk buying the pickled ginger and if you think you need drugs to help, don't be brave, ask. Sounds like your place are really on the ball, we are told 8 weeks is the earliest for booking in. Seems silly to wait that long when you've found out early...

llamallama · 07/10/2012 20:46

Hello

Can I join you? I have been lurking so far as I'm still in the "can't quite believe it" stage!

I got my BFP last Tuesday and am now 4+4 with baby #2. I have a 12 month old DD already. Very very pleased and excited to be pregnant so keeping everything crossed that all goes well.

I'm not having many symptoms though, I'm still breast feeding my DD and I have been feeling a little sore in the evenings, so many my boobs are more sensitive than usual. I remember last time that I could hardly put a bra on they were so tender! But maybe that joy is yet to come!

MrsRLondontown · 07/10/2012 21:00

Hi I'm 5+4 weeks due 5th June at the moment with my fitst pregnancy. Felt really sick/ headachy/emotional last week and was worried symptoms had decreased last few days but think it's just because I'm resting lots and not working! Have early uss tues so hoping for something to be visible ! Good luck to everyone. I never thought this first bit would be so much of a worry.

llamallama · 07/10/2012 21:18

Good luck for your scan. I had an early one with DD at 8 weeks last time, not sure we can afford to pay this time around, the private scan seem to be around £100 round here (south east) but I loved it last time! We saw a proper looking baby with her heart beating. It was really reassuring as up until that point it felt too unreal!

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 07/10/2012 22:14

First to bow out.

Heavy cramping this afternoon and now bleeding. Understandably upset. DH feels pretty bad too.

olimoss · 07/10/2012 22:17

Oh no anothercerealnamechanger

I'm so sorry, sending you good thoughts.....
