AnotherCerealNameChanger · 04/10/2012 22:23

hey devil congratulations! same EDD as me Grin

olimoss · 04/10/2012 22:30

Thanks skinnydecafflatte, feels a bit like forever right now....

Still trying to work out how to explain this to our rather spoilt whippet. She'll no doubt look very disappointed.

Had my first session with my personal trainer since I found out, told him of course, felt a bit wary the whole time bout exercising. I suppose that'll pass?

LadyFlumpalot · 05/10/2012 08:36

Oh crumbs. I'm panicking really badly at the moment. I remember all these little twinges and cramps from last time round, but I'm still terrified. Sad

Also, told my dad and stepmum yesterday, they had major problems with my stepmum carrying a child. They had my little sister, but only managed the one. My Stepmum is being funny with me, and said that I have to remember that she only had one and that I am making her remember how sad she felt.

I'm 28 years old, how does she manage to make me feel like a scolded teenager?!?

Argh. Sad

LadyFlumpalot · 05/10/2012 08:38

Jojoba I tested 3 days early because I just KNEW. My boobs started aching really badly about two days after we danced the dance and a few days later I got funny little twinges.

Jojoba1986 · 05/10/2012 09:41

Wow! That's a difficult situation with your step mum! My aunt didn't get married until she was past the child-bearing age & would really have liked children so it was difficult for her when I announced DS. It's not right for anyone to make you feel guilty for being pregnant!
Just because she struggled doesn't mean you will! My mum miscarried her first so I was terrified with DS but it's important to remember that everyone's different! Fx everything goes according to plan for you! Smile

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 05/10/2012 10:25

Wow lots of ladies on the thread now! Should we start a listy thing? Copy and add yourself at will.

Jamesandthegiantbanana - baby #3 - EDD 11th June

Anyone else on their third baby? I'm having a bit of an "omg what have we done?" wobble, now that I'm starting to feel tired and breathless, not sure how am I ever going to be able to chase after a two kids whilst heavily pg/pushing a newborn. I'm sure it'll all be ok but I keep getting a bit tearful thinking of the long tiring journey ahead. I'm already worrying about how to get three kids dressed, fed and out of the door for the school run!

Also I think spd is starting ridiculously early. It sounds impossible but it feels very familiar. Aching around the groin and hips area, lots of lower back/pelvic pain, and clicking/clunking when I open my legs. It kept me awake last night. It started at 11weeks in my first pg and stayed for a year after the birth, started about 20 weeks ish with my second, but I'm not even 5 weeks pregnant yet, this is bollocks. Angry

Anyway apart from that I'm great... lol How's everyone else doing?

thedevilisinthedetail · 05/10/2012 12:18

I tested early because I just knew! A dustbin lorry drove past and the smell had me doubled over with sickness...all a bit familiar so I tested!

James i'm wondering about early spd too...familiar twinges at 4 Weeks. This isn't inspiring me that this will be an easy pregnancy...

thedevilisinthedetail · 05/10/2012 12:19

This will also be third. My dd will be 4 and ds will be 2 when this one appears...slightly terrified...

pinkapples · 05/10/2012 13:06

What's spd?

RueDeWakening · 05/10/2012 14:02

SPD is symphis pubis dysfunction, also called pelvic girdle pain.

This will be my third too (though as previously we also have 2 angels who are DS's identical triplets). DD will be 6 and DS will be 3 when this one arrives.

bringonthetrumpets · 05/10/2012 14:59

Also on my third. DSs 4 and 2.5 years old-will be 4.5 and 3 when this one comes around.

MrsJLS85 · 05/10/2012 16:34

Hi everyone, and congrats on new BFPs!! Its been a while since I posted, I'm now 5+5 and have told a few friends. Still panicking though at the thought of MC (have had 2 before) but in both cases I had started spotting by this point, and so far nothing, so fingers crossed! I'm definitely going for an early scan in the next few weeks, any one else?

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 05/10/2012 17:43

Hi all, congratulations on all the lovely new BFP's!!!

Mrs for similar reasons I'm going for a scan week after next, I'm 5+4 today. Fingers crossed for you. When will you go? Suzy thanks for the heads up re scans and how private organisations might date differently. I canimagine how stressful that would have been.

Lady sorry you're anxious, I am too, perhaps that's just the nature of the game we're in for a bit. Sorry your stepmum is being weird.

Dreamy, Skinny and Rue I'm 40 so I think that qualifies me!

Wow, I can't keep up often enough on this thread. Any idea how many of us there are now? Is this the most fertile month ever???!!! I'm going away for a week so will do my best to catch up next Sunday!

ella0 · 05/10/2012 17:58

Thanks Rue, cereal and skinny :) . I woke up at 2.45am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm exhausted. I've had honey and lemon all day. At least it's the weekend, so I can rest now.

Skinnydecafflatte · 05/10/2012 18:33

It's lovely to have new faces on here, as James suggested let's try and set up a roll call shall we? Add your name and EDD in date order to the list.

Skinnydecafflatte - baby #2 - EDD 9 June
Jamesandthegiantbanana - baby #3 - EDD 11 June

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 05/10/2012 19:07

Good plan. I'll be name changing once I am past twenty weeks but I was recently 'spotted' on MN and I'd like to keep a low profile until I am more confident.

So,

Skinnydecafflatte · 05/10/2012 19:17

Oh there's lots of us, last time I was on a different birth thread (not as friendly as this one) and as I was at the end of the month I always felt behind, it's nice to be nearer the beginning of the month, although if this comes early as DC1 did then I'll end up in May's group!

dreamydays · 05/10/2012 19:21

Yay skinny and onemore!

i've booked a scan for 16 Oct. i'll be 6+6 then, I think. It's a bit early but I need to see the dr then anyway to stock up on progesterone. Anyway it gives me a milestone to aim for and it's not far away :)

I've been feeling rough off and on for last 24 hours - symptoms kicking in properly. Anyone else in the same boat? Hurray for the weekend!

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 05/10/2012 19:36

Can someone add me back please? I've fallen off the list!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 05/10/2012 20:24

Telling people is interesting... it being our third we are getting a few mixed reactions. Angry Some people are offering commiserations. Er, it was planned? Hmm
