Cereal It all sounds so confusing for you. How are you feeling today? FX for you that we get you back on the list. Smile

RueDeWakening · 10/10/2012 14:49

Cereal there is that, I suppose it's early days for seeing much anyway. I assume I'll get my early scan in about 2 weeks time, odds are it'll be an internal one too. The joys. Hope you find some answers asap though.

AnotherCerealNameChanger · 10/10/2012 18:26

Thank you Rue and Lorelei its been a funny old week. I feel like the body I have known for 30 and counting years is playing tricks on me. I am utterly utterly manic at work, so much so that I will be working 6 day weeks until the end of October then remaining FT until January.

Which is about double what I usually do! At least keeping busy keeps me occupied. james I hope all is well

olimoss · 10/10/2012 18:42

Saw the GP, got referred to the midwife and had the flu jab today. All a bit official.....

Needles hurt.

olimoss · 10/10/2012 18:42

Oh best of luck cereal - thinking of you....

dreamydays · 10/10/2012 19:38

oli I think the grapevine works pretty well on this sort of topic!

Anyone else feeling completely bleurgh? I had to get out of the shower this morning, shampoo on head and all, to throw up...don't remember ever having MS this bad before!

Squidge123 · 10/10/2012 20:16

Hello, I would like to join also bfp last week, due 10th June, baby #1. x

pinkapples · 10/10/2012 21:36

Think it's time I laid my mark and stopped lurking now.. IVF baby %231 5+1 due 11th June after a failed ivf and miscarriage. Early scanned booked with fertility clinic for the 29th :-) fingers crossed I make it that far Grin

pinkapples · 10/10/2012 21:37

That was meant to be baby number 1

dizzy77 · 11/10/2012 07:33

Joining the bus. Baby #2, edd 8 June. Bfp yesterday, trying not to get too excited for another 6 weeks. Crikey. Hope someone starts one of those "tell me it's easier the second time round" threads soon.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 11/10/2012 10:35

Hi dizzy I wouldn't say easier, but definately different. I'm on number 3 and different again
Hi all newbies

MrsJLS85 · 11/10/2012 11:10

ugh... SO ILL!!! I hate this feeling, and its a lot harder this time around with a toddler. Thank goodness DH is so supportive. Anyone else suffering from major morning sickness?

merrygiant · 11/10/2012 11:49

Hi to everyone on this exciting bus! I'm a newbie too, its my 2nd pregnancy, had a mmc in June this year and I'm now 6+5, due 1st June!
Has anyone else had a distinct LACK of symptoms?? I'm really panicking cos other than all the tests I keep doing, there's nothing physical to tell me I'm preggers.
I'd kill for some nausea. I gave up smoking on my first BFP Saturday before last and have been on the patches and gum since then. Anyone else battling with fags too?

Skinnydecafflatte · 11/10/2012 12:48

Hi MerryGiant and all other newbies.
I am still waiting for symptoms, apart from sore boobs I have nothing (except AF missing in action) I am now 5+5 so maybe soon. I know I should be glad but it does make me wonder. Last time I felt a bit nauseous a lot but that was it.

kiwi5 · 11/10/2012 13:08

Um, hi.
Just need to try and make it feel a bit more real. BFP on wed. No 2. But my third pregnancy. I had a mc in may. Have found it very hard since as it seems everyone I knew got pregnant in the summer! Also lost my baby nephew earlier this year, soma rubbish year really! Don't want to get too excited in case it al goes pear shaped, but at the same time it is so exciting isn't it?
Recognise a few peeps from the BFPs in 2012. I wasn't very good at posting, but did read it. Felt I couldn't post news of my BFP on that thread as a couple of the girls are having a rough time at the moment.
Hope everyone doing ok? Have a bit of nausea in the afternoons, boobs ginormous but not quite as achey at the mo!
Looking forward to getting to know you on this journey!

llamallama · 11/10/2012 13:35

Just had my GP appointment and have been booked in with midwife at around 9 weeks.

No real symptoms here either. I didn't have MS last time so I'm hoping I will escape this time too. I'm breast feeding my 12 month old and my boobs feel a bit sore when feeding but otherwise ok. Last time they were so tender that would flinch putting a jumper on!

Panicking now as it all feels a bit more real and wondering how to cope with two under two!

Lorelei353 · 11/10/2012 13:38

Lack of symptoms for me too. I was quite light-headed some days last week but seems to have settled down. I'm hungry a lot, and then don't want to eat too much when I do so have invested in packs of dried fruit to keep me topped up. No ms so far though!

newlondoner · 11/10/2012 14:15

No MS here either. Sore boobs (but improving), more hungry and perhaps I lost my sweet tooth a bit. Who knows. I got my nuchal scan date through today (23 november... feels like it's ages away), although I am still waiting for the midwife appt - which I think it's a bit strange? I'll leave it a few days and if not I'll call the hospital up. It may be that they do it altogether - but then the letter should have said so no?

princesschick · 11/10/2012 14:20

Waves to all the newbies :)

Not many symptoms here either. Have stopped waking in the night for food and sleeping straight through this week, have been feeling super tired all the time, boobs are big and a bit achy but not excruciating and have had a couple of waves of nausea but nothing terrible. I am feeling a lot more hungry tho. I'm 5 + 4, so it's still early for symptoms but I'm a bit scared of this weekend because of my two previous MCs.

Had a bit of a jippy tummy on Tuesday and felt very tired, washed out. I always get an upset tummy after having my bloods taken, so I know it wasn't a bug. MiL thinks she's caught a tummy bug from me (we're living with the in laws temporarily) Confused I asked DH whether he thought pregnancy was catching Grin

Merry quitting is tough isn't it? I gave up last year after my 2nd MC. And haven't touched a fag since. We gave up using e-cigarettes and I moved from nicotine smoke juice to nicotine free smoke juice over a couple of weeks. After about a month on the nicotine free e-cigarette I didn't want to touch fags. I smoked about 10 a day during the week and maybe a few more at weekends before that. DH gave up too. We used an e-cig called Liberro, which you re-charge in a case that looks like a packet of fags. Might be worth a try? Good luck in any case :)

I've seen the GP but not booked in with the midwife. Maybe I should book that up. I was thinking that it might be tempting fate a little and that I should maybe leave it a bit longer? But on the other hand, I want to stay positive and have baby things to look forward to.

It still doesn't feel very real at all! I can't believe I got my BFP over a week ago now!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 11/10/2012 14:26

Welcome to the newbies, I had a really busy day yesterday which didn't do the bleeding I've been having any favours, at one point it was as much as a light period so I decided to call the doctor. You can't get any early scans or be seen at an early pregnancy assessment unit unless you go through your gp so I was mostly there to get on the system in case it got worse over the weekend. I have an early scan booked tomorrow at 2pm, just to check everything's ok, then I can hopefully "ignore" the bleeding like last time. Hmm Stupid irritable cervix.

I don't have many symptoms yet (5+1, I think) apart from crying more easily, having a vague sense of fullness and pressure around my womb area, and being tired, especially in the afternoons. I could really do with a nap at about 2pm, fat chance of that! I don't feel sick at all yet, but I'm ok with that Grin
