June 2013 tentative start of thread

Hi, anyone else out there who may be at the very earliest point of pg? I haven't taken a test yet but feeling nauseous and tired and thinking this is it

Tested at 4w - just looked like an evap line. Test yesterday 4w+3 gave a nice bfp but not having any other symptoms yet. Ds1 and 2 gave bfp's so strong they practically glowed in the dark at 4w and i was feeling like i could sleep for a week by now, so feeling a bit nervous about this one. Due 15th June

Morning! My 5 year old has found out and told everyone in the playground virtually shouted it from the rooftops, bless him. Oh well that's that then, everyone knows! 5 weeks today lol

How's everyone doing? How are you cereal?

HELLO! I am 6 weeks, due 10.06..slightly nervous..told only my mum and husband.cannot wait to tell friends as avoiding evening events & meeting them it's not going to last long.
I am feeling mostly fine apart from tiredness in the afternoons/evening, painful boobs and slight nausea. I am drinking 2 decaf coffee per day, is that ok?
I also I wanted to do light exercise but worried about it...

Dontsweat you and I have the same due date fingers crossed that all is well. Apparently Father's Day is June 16th next year.

Still no real symptoms for me, except for sore boobs and had cramps over the weekend - pretty much everyone guessed I was pregnant due to not drinking on my best friend's hen do! No bleeding though which was a relief.

I rang the doctors yesterday. Asked if I needed to see a doctor, or just the nurse, or the midwife - the receptionist told me she didn't know and that I should call back on Friday which doesn't bode well. If they don't know what they're meant to be doing, how am I supposed to keep up?!

Minaa Congratulations! I went swimming yesterday - go for it - just be sensible and don't get yourself too hot, just pace yourself.

4w 3d and it seems like forever to go til the scan.

Hi. I think due date is around 8th June but not 100%. I had a mc in April and cycles have been anything from 28-35 days!
I won't add myself to the list yet.

Only my husband and I know I'm pregnant at the moment. Trying to wait til after the 12 week mark. All being well we'll put a scan pic in our parents Xmas cards :)

I'm really nauseous, sore boobed and tired. I have to keep eating or I feel sick, I'm gonna be huge if I keep this up!

I didn't feel this bad last time so hopefully that's a good sign.

I'm kind of dreading telling everyone, and wanting to get it over with (6w today, with EDD 04-06-13). I hate fuss, being fussed over.

Those of you with older children - how did you tell people, what was it like? I don't want to be a curmudgeon!

I'm on another thread but wanted to join the Jun 2013 one too. Got my BFP last Sunday having come back from holiday. I'm now 5 + 2.
Not planning an early scan as I'm attempting to be relaxed about the whole thing. Got my first appt. booked for 1st Nov (my gp surgery do them at the 8-9 week mark).
I'm 36, this is baby #1, and have been TTC since July (so not long at all really).

Have updated the list to add me in but my EDD is a bit of a guess as cycles hadn't really settled down since coming off pill.

Sorry to hear about your mc cereal. Hope you're doing okay (if you're still looking on here - I've taken you off list if that's okay. Didn't think you'd still want to be on there).

6+5 today. Like OP I am eating like a horse. Just had some hula hoops - ready salted.... they were good!!!

Didn't put on any weight other than baby weight last pregnancy but don't remember eating like this. DH says I did so hopefully things will calm down when I'm over the nausea. My nausea went at 12 weeks to the day. Only 5 weeks and 2 days to go then!!!!

Ok help please, I?m all confused now. I thought I should be 5+3 by my dates (Af should have been due 29th September 28 days cycles) and I thought I should be due on 9th June. preggersbycheggers is 6+5 and due four days before me and minaa is 6 weeks and due a day after me.

Plesae tell me what I should be? You?d think this was my first pregnancy!! Back in a bit, off to the loo (again...)

Morning all,

Just waiting for my progesterone test to come back this afternoon. I've been sleeping much, much better. I'm hungry loads but I've been on a regular eating plan for ages, so I've just up'd each snack a little bit rather than scoffing loads more. I've got a really upset tummy this morning, runs and cramps, I thought it was an MC starting but it's just the runs. Still not great to be feeling rough and hungry I think it was the blood test that did it, I was perfectly calm but I still think it gets the adrenalin going along with everything else...

Cereal I'm so sorry to hear your news. I'm still terrified at the moment having been through 2 MCs before and still waiting for DC#1. Please be gentle with yourself and take time to heal.

Skinnydecaf my due date is 09/06/13 and I have a 28 cycle. My period was due on 30th September. I'm currently 5 weeks and 2 days. You count the first day of your last period as day 1 and that should get you to how many weeks / days you are now. I used the Mumsnet calculator to work out my due date. Some people will be further along, different EDDs etc because of cycle length. HTH xx

Ah yes, I forgot about length of cycles. Is is too early for baby brain?!

Just had BFP yesterday for DC2 - a bit unexpected for various reasons so just trying to get my head around it right now! I have added myself to the list below - EDD june 7th although periods erratic so I maybe a few days off. Not feeling nauseous, just very very tired (and sore boobs, of course). Will try to keep calmer this time as last time I was soo nervous throughout the pregnancy - I ended up giving birth at 29 weeks and if I think about that risk I will go mental within weeks. So ladies I hope talking to you will help to keep me sane!

I am so crap at keeping a secret. One of my clients guessed - says she's suspected for a week. I denied it and then she offered me a cigarette and I said no, then she had one, came back and I nearly threw up on her because of the smell! Grr. Hi, thank you for taking me off the list. I don't know what is going on now. Bleeding was lighter this morning and then stopped. POAS as it was far too short for AF and I got a + just now. Used a boots cheapy and the line wasn't as dark as the control line.

Really confused. Am away with work on and off site for the next three weeks. My last pg was as textbook as they come, this one (if there is one) is not lining up to be as easy.

DOn't add me back just yet - should I go over an MC thread to ask what WTF is happening to my body? Cramps still very strong and just ache all over

Cereal, I don't want to give you false hope but these things aren't set in stone, sometimes you can bleed and bleed and still be pregnant. Sometimes you can have no bad symptoms and yet the worst has happened. I have my fingers crossed for you, hoping that you've been lucky, or that at the very least you are quick to concieve again and that the next one sticks properly.

I'm bleeding more than before, it's still only a very small amount but it's gone from pink tinged mucous to streaks of red blood with tiny clots. There's nothing to be done at this stage so I'm just waiting it out and not worrying. I suspect/hope it's just the same cervical abrasion I had last time, which went on for quite a while.

I won't add myself to the list just yet, if that's ok? I'm not quite sure of my dates just yet. Weird symptoms last month that suggest I may be 10 weeks, not 6 weeks.

olimoss you asked about telling people last time. We were slow to tell people so as to get past the worry stage first. At work etc, I only told a few people then left it for the grapevine to work its magic - less awkward than having the conversation over and over again! And it's lovely when people come to congratulate :)

Cereal with DS I initially went for an early scan due to bleeding. They found three heartbeats (!) and basically suspected I'd been carrying quads , lost one of them but the others were still hanging on.

I then bled from 8 weeks to 16ish weeks pretty much non-stop, had loads of anti-d given, no cause for the bleeding was ever found and it was put down to "one of those things". Although we lost 2 of the boys, it had nothing to do with the bleeding at all.

Maybe you should reconsider that scan at EPU?

James Whoops :o I'm dreading my 5 year old finding out - we'll try not to tell her until after the 12-week mark, although DH was trying to tell her that I'd take her on a school theatre trip 2 days before my EDD and was being particularly thick at interpreting my strangled protests earlier, so who knows what she took in from that!

Thanks dreamydays ... I like the grapevine idea. Wonder if it'd work over the oceans as I'm not originally from the uk...!
