Yeah hopefully it was meant to be!!

Had another energy burst today!! Think the correct iron levels are now starting to work. I say that, I'm currently crashed on the sofa lol!!! Have just packed my hospital bag after washing all the stuff!! Baby clothes currently on (well the new born stuff) to go into his bag. I feel a tad guilty for putting such a small amount of clothes into the machine?! But I wanted to wash it on it's own and the bigger clothes are still at mums I need to bring them home.

I've just read a post on pregnancy with someone complaining about how much tacky stuff has been bought. I know some people can be annoying etc. But to me the point of someone buying you something is that they have chosen it because they like it?! Its what presents are about. Sometimes you like it, sometimes you don't but it's the thought that counts? I say this, someone is bound to buy me something truely dreadful now lol!!!! At least the in laws are interested unlike mine who is still causing me problems out Of the country.....bloody men :(

I am also on the verge of murdering younger hound. She has weed three times in the house today!!! No reason other than she wanted too...she didnt even ask to go out!!!! She always bloody asks!!! To make matters worse we'd just come in from a walk!!

Mw tomorrow!! Will see what she says!!

NervousAt20 · 18/09/2012 20:18

As stunt that sounds traumatic, FC that everything goes smoothly for y

NervousAt20 · 18/09/2012 20:19

Ou this time!

NervousAt20 · 18/09/2012 20:19

Damn phone keeps sending to quick!!

Evilwater · 18/09/2012 20:48

How can you all be talking about another baby?? When the ones in the oven arn't out? Are you lot crazy??? Confused

I'm finding very difficult to do things now. Driving is espally bad, as well as sitting on hard chiars.

I'm off to do some family history research, which I love to do. Finding out what my family got up to, I'm going to find out wheather one of my grandfathers did sail with queen Victoria.

Argh the flu jab decision. I was PG with DD in the height of the swine flu outbreak and working at an NHS PCT at the time. I felt like i spent a significant amount of my PG worrying about it. In the end after much deliberating I had the one you have in 2 doses, but only had one dose as I was in hospital after having DD when I was due to have the 2nd one!! Haven't been offered it this time yet. It'll be in with the seasonal flu jab this time I guess.

ValiumQueen · 18/09/2012 21:09

kissy I was working in a frontline clinic with a high risk group, indeed I was the only member of nursing staff to be on duty one week (the week I concieved!) and when they called us for the jag, as a priority group, Occ Health refused to vaccinate me as I was pg! I was doubly high risk! I went and sat in my managers office refusing to go back to clinic until they stopped discriminating me. I had the jag by the end of the day.

Passmethecrisps · 18/09/2012 21:12

Evening all.

So much going on! I love the names.

I am another fuzzy bumped one. Legs much less stubbly than normal.

If I have tried to discuss birth options with DH he just tells me it is up to me. He was keen on the idea of a water birth though.

Passmethecrisps · 18/09/2012 21:15

And there is certainly no 2nd baby chat in this house yet either. We were convinced it would take us several months to conceive - first day of honeymoon did the job! We were obviously delighted but pretty stunned

YellowWellies · 18/09/2012 21:17

Woo Stunt are you selling too? Sometimes I think it's handy to combine nesting with selling but now I'm at the point that I'm so glad ours has gone to a closing date (on Thursday at 4pm!!!) as we only have a few days left of me cleaning the house and making it look like we live like reasonably hygienic human beings. I hope we get a good offer.

I'm another one with hairless legs and slight fuzz on the bump. Does this mean we are team blue? Just when DH has agreed that Liberty would make a lovely middle name....

I got the spinning babies work book in the post today. It's amazing!!! If anyone has any belly maps they want analysing - scan em and post them on the FB group and I'll try to figure out how the baby is lying. You're best to do it from 32 weeks on so I can't really do it on me just yet (6 days to go...)

kissyfur · 18/09/2012 21:27

Valium Same thing happened to me when they vaccinated people in the office with the normal flu jab, I was high risk as PG but they wouldn't give it to me! Ridiculous Angry

Kyzordz · 18/09/2012 21:45

I have a fuzzy bump, and lots of fluffy blonde hair on my arms and at the bottom of my back! I'm dark haired and didn't have hair there before or at least not as bad!

We have a list of names for bean, there's one we're strongly leaning towards, we've not told anyone but I'll tell you all, nobody I know will find out if I say it on here and I'm dying to tell someone. We're quite taken with Eric and have been throughout my pregnancy. The middle names are two of these three... Andrew, Thomas and Zacari (all three are important relatives, dp's dad, dp and my little brother who we're extremely close to) but we've not settled on anything properly just yet.

I've been getting some horrible pains today and yesterday. Above my belly button in the middle of my bump but up a bit, when bean moves underneath or pushes out it feels like stitch or a stabbing pain. It's happened once yesterday (for a few minutes when he's shuffling) and once today. I don't know exactly why it hurts so much but bean is moving plenty, I thought perhaps it's stuff stretching?

Titsalinabumsquash · 18/09/2012 22:02

I'm glad I'm not the only fuzzy bumped lady! Smile
I've spent the evening entertaining myself by testing a book on my bump and watching him madly trying to kick it off

I'm having the flu jab on Saturday, I have one anyway as DS1's primary care giver and it makes him a bit less annoyed about having it if we both go together and have sweets afterwards Grin

ValiumQueen · 18/09/2012 22:11

Have sorted all the clothes, so today made a start on the bedding. Just sorting the moses basket prior to birth as nursery nowhere near finished. Have ten blue or boy coloured gro bags, all charity shop finds, and six pink or girly ones. Cannot find my swaddle pod. I gave two to a friend who had her baby three months after me, but I kept one as a keepsake. I might ask her if she still has them.

Have plenty of unisex cellular blankets and one blue one.

Bought mat pads and new baby nappies size 3 to get my boots changing bag. It is a lot smaller than the last one I got, which I still use frequently and is now over six years old. Need to source some peppermint water. My arnica is still in date.

Getting real now!

kirrinIsland · 18/09/2012 22:13

kyzordz I've had pain like that. It feels to me like the baby has had her foot in the same place for too long and it's stretching or bruising the inside of my bump? It's really quite painful, but it eases up when I push her foot back in!

georgee · 18/09/2012 22:19

Just a quick one before bed to say thanks for reporting on hairiness ladies! Very interesting indeed - perhaps I shouldn't rule myself out of team blue quite yet! Will go now and inspect bump for fuzziness. 'Night all.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 18/09/2012 22:19

Evening of maternity reflexology. Bliss. Am very chilled at this time. Only 5 more days in work, it just gets better.

Loads of what I think are bracton hicks but different to what I have had before. More like period pains, and so real labour twinges than the whole bump tightening up which was what I had with DS.

GTbaby · 19/09/2012 04:50

Oh dear. Can't sleep Sad. Had midwives app today. Spoke to her about pains etc. got told off for not going to labour ward Blush. She thinks they r braxton hicks. She also suggested reduced work hours. Which work have agreed with a dr note. But will only work for nxt week as maternity kicks in 4 weeks before due date regardless of having a sick note.

Must try n sleep now. Feel hungry Blush

StuntNun · 19/09/2012 07:18

Evil my clock is ticking because I'm 36 and it took a couple of years to get pregnant with this baby. I haven't got any firm ideas about a potential fourth child but I don't want to run out if time. Before I got pregnant with this one I said it would definitely be my last but now I'm not so sure. I think it was going to look at the five bedroom house we want to buy that got me started...! Plus I already have a seven seater car lol!

YW we don't have enough rooms in the house with this baby on the way so ideally we would like to move when he's around six months old and ready to go into his own room. All the houses in our street have been up for sale for years though so we thought we'd better get started good and early. The family that were round last night may be good prospects as they're desperate to live in the catchment area for the school. But they haven't sold their house yet so nothing is going to be happening in the near future (phew couldn't handle moving right now!) Coincidentally, they live in the house we were going to buy when we moved here but the deal fell thorough at the 11th hour.

Hi guys,

My back is aching again today, I reckon its just the wieght fo the bump now. I think I'm 32 weeks already! I cannot believe how fast it is going!!!

Lilliana · 19/09/2012 07:32

GT hope you got some sleep and hope the reduced hours help.

Thanks for the advice on flu jabs, I get offered the seasonal one as I have an inhaler for hayfever season but don't usually bother. Have a mw app today so will have a chat with her about it and sort it out.

I'm another with less leg hair and a bit of fuzz on the bump. Was hoping I could use it as a sign but it seems team pink and blue are both experiencing it!

Tits, I love putting things on my bump for LO to kick off - hours of entertainment Grin

Peaky1 · 19/09/2012 07:55

Can anyone tell me a bit more about this Arnica that I keep hearing about? It's an anti-inflammatory, isn't it? Is it a cream/tablet? When do you use it?...end of question time!

P.s. 34 weeks today and measured up at 37cm yesterday with midwife Confused. Now I'll be seeing a consultant and possibly growth scan next week as it'll apparently determine whether or not I can have home birth and/or water birth. Hopefully it's all fine as the midwife isn't too fussed, just needs it checking.

Iheartpasties · 19/09/2012 08:07

ooow never heard of arnica....

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/09/2012 08:07

Not much to report here, ds still teething so not getting much sleep at all but he's getting slightly better.

Haven't got any plans today, not too sure what to do.

GTbaby · 19/09/2012 08:26

Managed to get some sleep eventually. Got quite hungry so had a banana n milk n slowly fell asleep. Got to get up soon for work. But just wana sleep now. SadSad

Thanks for asking peaky hopefully someone will b along soon to answer as I was wondering same thing.
