Look forward to hearing for you soon Smile

a.c., thank goodness it's not just me craving crap food at moment. I'm usually good and in last pg was a saint. this time crisps, takeaways, etc are my major food groups.

spinamum · 14/05/2006 21:14

sorry that should have read a.q.(sorry accessorizequeen)

Good luck for scan debs.

night all.

Calmriver · 15/05/2006 09:31

I haven't written in for ages, but I am due on the 12.My section will be 2 weeks earlier.

About 10 weeks now, and feel bloated too.

A few people at DH's work have asked me if I am expecting again. This will be my 2nd baby.

I know what day I conceived, despite the doc telling me that it was 3 days later!!!(according to my mens.date)

Hugs and good vibes to you all.

cupcakes · 15/05/2006 11:34

I was outed by a friend at barbeque at the weekend so I had to tell her and one other friend who was in the room at the time. Blush
and after I left 2 other women asked if I was pg. I guess my bump isn't as inconspicuous as I thought...

Good luck, Debs.

Debbsy · 15/05/2006 13:31

thanks all :) xx

lennied · 15/05/2006 17:22

Hi all,

I have told a friend at work today - such a relief. She told me that she is 12 weeks, so just had to tell her. All excited now as we will hopefully have our babies within a month of each other. Also nice to have someone to chat to in the real world finally who knows what its like.

Hope your scan went well Debs, and welcome to those who have joined and re-joined us. Hopefully there will only be a few more weeks of feeling dreadful??!!

I finally realised why I was feeling so bad, had eaten something that disagreed with me and spent the weekend with a very poorly tummy. At least it has stopped me being bloated for a day or so though!

Love to all x

jabberwocky · 15/05/2006 18:05

I so hate the bloated feeling. I told dh the other day that I look and feel about 4 months along at this point. It was not at all like this with ds. Sad Feeling some better today, but of course that can change in a moment.

yomellamoHelly · 15/05/2006 18:55

How did the scan go Debbsy?

K1K2 · 15/05/2006 20:06

Hi for the last time to Jabberwocky ( who was the same EDD date as me) and all the December people, I didn't do a lot of chatting -I wished I had a bit more, and taken a bit more advice , because maybe things might have been different... However I miscarried on Saturday. I feel guilty now because I didn't completely rest up from the moment I noticed a bit of brown spotting a couple days earlier. I had only been to my first anti-natal appointment 2 days before that. I did some light weeding in the garden on Sat afternoon and after that the cramps came , so I stopped and laid on the sofa. Though I was aware that my pregancy symptoms , like Angsthase, were waining a good few days before that. So would it have made any difference? They say no amount of bed rest will stop the inevitable, but I can't help thinking , if I had done nothing all day... BTW, does anyone know if Oinker is OK with her other remaining beanie? She hasn't been on and I was thinking of her because, in vain, I was hoping that the scan today might have revealed a remaing twin, but that was too much to hope for.... Anyway I wish you all the very best of luck ( I'll look in on you occaisonally )Smile

cupcakes · 15/05/2006 20:11

so, so sorry. You're probably right about the bed rest not making any difference - especially if you felt your symptoms were already fading. Is your mc complete or do you need to go back in to hospital? I had a mc in March and know how sad you may feel. How many weeks were you?

cupcakes · 15/05/2006 20:27

just seen on angsthase's thread that oinker's pg is non viable. Sad

Debbsy · 15/05/2006 20:48

oh no poor oinker and k1k2 so very very sorry.I hope you both heal well with time, but i am a great believer that everything happens for a reason and i hope this gives you some sort of comfort so so sorry:(

Debbsy · 15/05/2006 20:59

Feel insensitive now after the sad news, scan went brilliantly,we saw baby very clearly which made me cry,not going to go into much detail on this thread as dont wish to upset oinker or k1k2 i have posted in detail on pregnany beanies bumps and babies as thats where all my old friends are,but i will be moving to the nov thread as they have moved me to the 27th Nov but i will keep checking on here after everyone.
Best of luck xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MummyTo1PlusBump · 15/05/2006 22:35

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

spinamum · 16/05/2006 11:48

So sorry for your losses. I was coming on to whinge about being so tired, but that just seems pathetic now.

Take care all.

calsworld · 16/05/2006 12:41

thanks spinamum ive posted baby scan pics on member profile if you would like to see Grin

lennied · 16/05/2006 17:49

Hi Debbsy,

Congratulations - will miss you on here, although chances are we may see you again near the end if you go over at all.

Sorry to hear the news from KIK2, nothing really that we can say, except rest up and I hope that with time you will start to feel better.

No news myself, first midwife appointment come through for Monday and consultant a week tomorrow. So hopefully might get a scan then, fingers crossed.

spinamum · 16/05/2006 20:47

I've been in bed for a half an hour, having tricked the 2.5 one that i was down stairs. I've never known exhaustion like this. I would be asleep but my risotto is still sitting in my tum and i had an awful night's sleep last time I tried to go to bed straight after eating.

Is it normal to be this tired? I'm unable to function on any level. I'm having conversations with DH which I have no memory of. I am a zombie!

Night all. Maybe I need to go to bed earlier. I notice no one else posts this late. (OMG when did eight become a late night?)

accessorizequeen · 16/05/2006 21:28

I know no-one, despite having lurked on MN since before DS (2.5) was born. Joining this thread made me feel I was joining a little parentcraft group online. But having just paged through, I'm very sad for Angsthase, K1K2 and Oinker.

I'm remembering how excited I was about first pregnancy reading others' posts - so thrilled about my 10 week scan I drank about 5 litres of water & had to go to the toilet twice before they could do the scan Smile.

jabberwocky · 16/05/2006 23:28

Just logged on and saw the news. I am so, so sorry K1K2. Please try not to blame yourself. When I had spotting with ds, my brother (who is a physician) said to me, "I'm glad I didn't know about it until later, because there was nothing I could have done to help you." Just concentrate on taking care of yourself, physically and emotionally. I wish I could think of more to say...it's just a very sad thing to go through. My heart goes out to you.

I don't know if oinker is still checking in on this thread or not, but I am very Sad to hear of her latest news. For some reason I felt so sure the other twin would make it .

jabberwocky · 16/05/2006 23:30

spinamum, have you had your thyroid checked? I have problems anyway with mine, but this pregnancy really drained my levels down quite low. I was amazed at the level of exhaustion I had with this pg, but now that they have adjusted my medications I am starting to see an improvement.
