Good luck Pinpan Grin

Been thinking of you today not jealous at all, oh no Wink

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 18:22

They really aren't all they are cracked up to be elvis Grin.....
Especially when you know its just baby positioning rather than anything happening Sad

If I knew they were working towards something they would be far easier to deal with.

elvislives2012 · 22/09/2012 18:45

I've decided that if I am determined I will miss them completely, sneeze and baby will be here. Easy.

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 18:48

~digs hole next to *elvis~ Grin

I think I've just had a show! I've never had a show before! Its strangely exciting Blush

Maybe these cramps are doing their job after all!

Bear1984 · 22/09/2012 18:50

Ahh pinpan fingers crossed for you!

gizzy I know what you mean. Have had tightenings for 24 hours now, feeling a bit sore and sensitive down below, bump feels very heavy when I walk. I'm having curry for dinner I think with pineapple for dessert and possibly an evening stroll ha!

elvis lol! I'm with you on that!

Bear1984 · 22/09/2012 18:51

Ooo fingers crossed for you then too gizzy! I had the show with DD. had it about 6am, and then she was born at 5:47pm that evening!

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 18:54

Ha I too am just cooking a curry Bear Grin

I'm not even convinced it was a real show or if I'm just getting carried away. Its stopped me feeling hopeless for a while anyway Grin

Then I'm gonna have a glass of wine while sat on my birth ball and watch xfactor.....

newtonupontheheath · 22/09/2012 18:55

Oh for goodness sake Gizzy Envy

Well done my love Smile

I'm not checking this bleedin' thread again tonight if people are going to keep on having babies Grin

Bear1984 · 22/09/2012 18:58

Lmao newton

gizzy I've been a bit like that, trying not to get carried away. DP however is convinced baby will be here any minute now lol! Well fingers crossed it was and things are starting to progress for you!

My sister suggested doing squats as DP pointed out, I can barely get myself out of a chair let alone do squats so may give that a miss lol.

newtonupontheheath · 22/09/2012 18:58

Is it wrong to pop out for a bottle of wine at almost 39 weeks?! Grin

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 19:01

newton I have had the cramps/pains for the last 2 nights and they have all tailed off to nothing during the night. I have no reason to believe tonights episode will be any different Grin

I'm just getting caught up in the excitement of thread babies and wishing myself in to phantom labour Blush

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 19:01

Not in the slightest newton....though I tend to sent the hubster Grin

newtonupontheheath · 22/09/2012 19:11

Ha ha fair enough Grin

If I'm honest, we've still got a bit too much to do for baby to arrive yet. It it doesn't stop me wanting it here now!!

DH has some beer in the fridge.... Think I'll have one of those instead. The MIL is round tomorrow and I can't bear the judgey judgey. And I can't drink a whole bottle to hide the evidence Grin

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 19:26

Bugger.....just remembered I have to pick #1 son up from work at 10pm.
Will have to put the wine on hold.

Pheebs24 · 22/09/2012 19:34

Am hiring out DH for contraction-starting assistance. He's driven me back from my sisters and started off my Braxton Hicks... shout if you're in the South West and interested lol Grin

Am jealous of those of you who will see your lovely little babies soon, but good luck Thanks

elvislives2012 · 22/09/2012 19:38

I've been having period pain for last couple of nights. Is that BH? Feels like low down cramping and uncomfortable.
or am I just clutching at straws and trying to dream up labour symptoms?

Bear1984 · 22/09/2012 19:51

Sounds like BH to me elvis. I get those sometimes as well.

Lol Pheebs. DP drove us back from my mum's earlier and was going a bit too quickly over the speedbumps lol.

CaptainHetty · 22/09/2012 20:24

Ok... Been contracting every 4-5 minutes for an hour and a half now. Worse when I stand and walk about. Really getting quite intense and hurting :( hoping this is it because if it stops now I'll be really upset! Lol

GizzyBoo · 22/09/2012 20:36

Woohoo......Go Hetty Grin

newtonupontheheath · 22/09/2012 20:46

Flippin heck.... Is there something in the water?!

Fab news Hetty Grin Grin

Pass the wine Gizzy Wink

EarnestDullard · 22/09/2012 20:50

Best of luck and lots of labour-y vibes to pinpan, KPT and Hetty. Looking forward to hearing birth announcements very soon, but also very jealous of any squidgy newborns when mine will probably be weeks yet EnvyGrin

I'm 38w today and would be very happy to have this baby any day now. OTOH, DD (2.5yo) had a bad cold and is mega grumpy, so I pity whoever we'd draft in to babysit if anything does kick off in the next day or so.

Bubblebell1 · 22/09/2012 20:52

Woohoooo more babies.

I'm in bed with a bottle of flat tango and a bag of haribo star mix.

Good luck to all of you with contractions and having shows. Please keep us updated. I'm waiting here for pics and birth stories Grin

Bear1984 · 22/09/2012 21:08

Ooo good luck Hetty I hope this is it for you!

Just had my curry, baby is moving lots, that's about it lol. Gonna walk to tesco after X factor and get some pineapple lol.

LoopyLa · 22/09/2012 21:09

Oooh, I can't bear the excitement! Is it too early to change the wine for some prosecco or something bubbly?!! Grin

Good luck Hetty!

MakeTeaNotWar · 22/09/2012 22:06

Wow what a night - hopefully - so many babies jockeying for position to be next. Although can I respectfully remind you ladies that I'm at the front of the queue? (though go ahead pinpan)

I'm not going to be last am I? Impossible!
