justwantcheese · 09/06/2012 22:41

Cake and painkillers sounds great, everything's better with cake Grin

PinkPanther27 · 09/06/2012 22:45

Good luck ceej! Hope u manage to get some rest.

ellybett · 09/06/2012 22:57

Eek, go ceej. Breathe those contractions away! Have been checking every morning to see if there have been any overnight June babies, am getting so excited every time someone mentions a twinge or a plug Grin !

No signs from me but only 38 weeks today. Massive pressure on my pelvis and my bump just feels like its ALL baby with about 15 limbs. Went for a good walk today and been bouncing like mad. I'm ready now, definitely want this baby out. Now. That would be NOW bump!

Btw I'm another with a Bristol connection, worked on Park Street for a couple of years and DF was an invigilator at Clifton College!

rhihaf that is the most outrageous MW behaviour I have ever heard and I would most definitely make a formal complaint. Sorry she put you through that.

kveta hope you get an easier time of it when your folks arrive and your DS manages to give you some easier nights sleep.

gwennie fingers crossed you can sort the leak quickly. I sympathise massively. There always seems to be something going wrong or needing fixing in our house!

mckayz your back ache sounds really promising though. I hope you're able to sleep through it a bit tonight. Got to be honest, even with DH about the whole 'sex thing' isn't gonna happen with my SPD, don't think he'd appreciate me wincing through it!

Sorry for missing out so many people, cannot retain information. Hope tea, warlin, small, fan, horsey and mamma are having loads of lovely smelling baby cuddles!

emblosion · 09/06/2012 23:16

Woo! Go ceej good luck!

DairyNips · 09/06/2012 23:51

Ooh ceej excitingSmile Hope things go well for you!

I had a clary sage bath this evening, have bounced on my ball and am now leaning over it to try and turn baby. Nothing at all happening.. Getting bored of being overdue nowHmm

rachyroodle · 10/06/2012 04:55

Exciting news Ceej! Hope all is going well and that we have some lovely baby news today!

McKayz · 10/06/2012 06:38

I wonder if Ceeej has had baby yet. Very exciting.

I've slept all night!! First time in ages. I hope everyone else has had good sleeps.

DairyNips · 10/06/2012 06:53

Great you've slept all night McKayz! I've slept quite well too apart from a few loo breaksSmile

CathFin · 10/06/2012 06:54

Ooh, excited for you ceeej, fingers crossed things are happening!

McKayz good news about sleep, I ate really early last night and then did a Tesco run when the kids were in bed, and my indigestion was a lot better so I got a decent sleep too!

Unfortunately any pain I am getting is prob just my cervix softening or constipation - nice!

smallwonder · 10/06/2012 07:21

Hoping to hear some good news ceej
Did SSC have her baby on Thursday/Friday? I'm assuming all went well, will try to scroll back and see before LO wakes up x

CathFin · 10/06/2012 07:23

Coops also meant to say that they won't admit you to the maternity ward here until you are 4cm dilated so that might be something to think about too when labour starts.

Kveta · 10/06/2012 07:24

Yay for sleep! I managed about 5 hours last night, feel so much better! Didn't stop the morning vomit though. I am so looking forward to not throwing up every morning!

smallwonder · 10/06/2012 07:50

5 hours is bliss Kveta
I've woken up to a cup of tea that has stayed down :) The world feels so very different right now. I've just checked on DS who is cuddled into his dad, think I might get some breakfast and wait for cuddles too. mw will be out later to remove stitch thing, I am then a free woman so to speak. And do not want to see another needle or feel another prick again Grin unless absolutely necessary Grin
Have a good day all, fingers crossed for Diege and sending another shout out to SSC who I hope had her baby and is doing just fine.

ceeej · 10/06/2012 07:51

Thank you for all the speedy gentle labour vibes, they did the job because I'm now cuddling the softest cutest baby ever!

Charlotte Ailsa arrived at 4am ish (must check the exact time) this morning weighing in at 6lb12. Mummy got the birth she was hoping for and has only bruising and small grazes to show for it so is quite delighted. Daddy did an excellent job too and is now fast asleep but I just can't take my eyes off the perfect little human we created!

smallwonder · 10/06/2012 07:51

Ceej that should say. Fingers crossed.

smallwonder · 10/06/2012 07:53

Ceej OH MY GOD. Congratulations to you and DH. Yay, well done you! Yay, our next June baby has arrived safe and sound. Much love to you C xxxxx cuddles for LO xxxx
