Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Congratulations Kyzordz, another for team blue!

Valium I organised DS2's sixth birthday for a Monday afternoon finishing at 5 p.m. (i.e. rush hour) in the hope that some people won't be able to make it. I know it sounds awful but I just can't afford £200 for a birthday party. I actually got the idea from someone else that had their kid's birthday party on a Thursday afternoon and I wondered whether they did it on purpose!

Congrats Kyzordz Smile

GTbaby I am still being sick at 16 and a half weeks as well Sad It's really getting to me now. Feel really shitty this morning so may attempt to go back to sleep and see if it has subsided when I wake up.

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/06/2012 07:48

Congrats kyzordz! I'm sure there are more boys so far. Don't forget to add the gender to the stats list on here AND on fb pleassseeee!

SwissArmyWife · 04/06/2012 07:54

Kyzordz Congratulations! Definitely a year for boys, i'm sure of it.
I want my 20 week scan now!!

GT Sounds like a horrible night :( I hope you get to catch up on some rest today.

Hope everyone has a lovely Monday, i'm pleased today as DD actually slept through which is rare!

ditsygem · 04/06/2012 10:17

Congratulations Kyzordz!
Can anyone remind me who to message on facebook to be added to the group?

I sympathise with anyone getting unwanted advise - I have the Parents in law staying at the mo and I do really get on with them, but MIL is full of advise from when she had children and doesn't seem to understand why things have moved on in the last 30 years!

StuntNun · 04/06/2012 10:28

Ditsy it's DH21 that you PM with your name and a description of your profile pic.

Yellow thank you!! Feeling happier this morning think I was tired and hungry!!

Kyz congrats!!!!?

Lilliana · 04/06/2012 10:53

Hi everyone, congrats on your boy Kyzordz and sorry to hear people are still suffering MS - I'm so glad mine seems to have passed and hope yours does too - soon.

People aren't giving me advice yet but I have had to listen to everyones birth stories - mainly the horror ones. A particularly nice conversation in the staffroom was about friends who miscarried v late into their pregnancy :( Thought that might be a good time to leave!

Sorry people are having a rough time emotionally too - I found my self tearing up at the 3 lions song when played on the radio the other day. WTF? I don't even like football!

What is the FB group all about - I've obviously missed something!

Hope everyone has a good day

ShellyBobbs · 04/06/2012 11:21

Well hello there, only took me an hour and a half to catch up from Wednesday :)

Well my sprained ankle is lovely and purple / yellow / green and is really freaking my lovely little children out.

ValiumQueen How are you feeling now, hope you are feeling much better, has the bleeding stopped?

Not much to report here, I have been having Braxton Hicks for the last week or so and little buba has been doing summersaults for fun (4th baby).

My hormones seem to have calmed down, not had the weepies yet and things have stopped getting on my nerves. My hubby has been on a diet for the last 2 weeks, he just got on the scales and hasn't lost anything at all this week, I got on and found I've lost the 3lb that I put on last week so am now back to my pre-pregnancy weight - he's well gutted! In my defense, I just can't stand anything with fat or sugar still, I tried to force myself to eat 2 creme eggs the other day and was honking the whole time :) My appetite is also back to normal, no more meals for 5 on my plate anymore.

Right, off for a shower then a fun day at the cricket club, see you all later.

ShellyBobbs · 04/06/2012 11:23

Oh yes and I won't be finishing work until 2 weeks before EDD which will be halloween (sp?), that is if I'm not made redundant in July / August first!

Had a cheeky private scan yesterday. Good price and lovely sonographer. I got a free DVD of the whole scan along with the photos. It's actually quite nice to show the fam. Anyway, it's another one for team blue!

applepieinthesky · 04/06/2012 12:22

Another little boy wow!! Congrats [Peaky]

I have been sick again this morning. Puked up all of my breakfast. This is getting silly now. When will it stop??

ValiumQueen · 04/06/2012 12:53

Got out of the shower this morning and threw up all over myself so had to get in again. No warning at all. Not funny.

Not too bad today. Felt lots of kicks down low last night after Ben and Jerrys and even DH felt one. Very encouraging.

Iheartpasties · 04/06/2012 12:57

ooow ben and Jerry's I'd kill for some ben and jerry's....

ValiumQueen · 04/06/2012 12:59

Cookie dough nom nom.

MrsPaynie · 04/06/2012 13:01

Hey ladies, can I please join in Smile I'm due November 29th with DC3, got DS who has just turned 4 and DD who is 3. Hubby works away a lot and I'm in a different country to my family so will be nice to have a chat with some of you lovely ladies! Right now I've introduced myself Im off to catch up on some of the gossip from the thread Grin

applepieinthesky · 04/06/2012 15:24

Welcome MrsPaynie and congratulations. Feel free to add yourself to the stats list or let us know the details and we will add you.

ValiumQueen · 04/06/2012 15:31

Welcome mrsP you are brave having three so close in age. I would have done if I could but changed jobs so had to wait until I was entitled to mat pay again.

MrsPaynie · 04/06/2012 16:14

Lol I don't know if I'd say brave! This baby was totally unplanned, was on the pill at the time so I'm just guessing it was meant to be. I've been advised not to have anymore after severe SPD with previous too, but this one happened to come along so we decided to embrace it, knowing it will definitely be our last Grin there are only 20 months between DS and DD, so I'm glad this gap is a little bigger! Still, a little scared about how I'm gonna cope with 3 children under 5Confused

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/06/2012 16:29

peaky congrats on a boy! Can't believe how many there are on the thread already!

Chunkychicken · 04/06/2012 16:45

I've had to admit defeat. After enduring my (low-slung, slightly stretchy) normal jeans digging in yesterday, I've put my maternity jeans on. They're not much more comfy but they don't dig into the bump, so that's something. Only 4wks earlier than with DD. :( At this rate, I'll be a ChunkyOstrich at term!!!

ValiumQueen · 04/06/2012 17:13

chunky you have done well to last this long!

applepieinthesky · 04/06/2012 17:45

Ooops. Have been painting the nursery with DP, DB and his girlfriend and got yellow paint all over my new top. Will I have to bin it or has anyone got any tips for getting it out?

On the plus side we have nearly finished painting and already have furniture and curtains so just need to get the cot bed now. Still can't decide which one I want but I have decided on a pram so I'm getting it on friday when DP gets paid.

kirrinIsland · 04/06/2012 18:01

Congrats to kyzordz and peaky on your baby boys!
I'm very jealous as they couldn't tell me what mine was at my 16 week scan!
