I sleep on my front trouble so I wear the Mothercare nursing tops (like crop tops) with breast pads at night. I hardly leak at all in the day but end up very soggy if I don't wear pads. Lily padz didn't work for me for more than a week sadly.

ghosteditor · 12/04/2012 08:19

Argh xpost! Good luck trope and I hope things stay stable so you can have your lovely natural birth. Will they keep you in afterwards too? They kept telling me that there's an increased risk for PE give days after the birth which is why they wanted me to stay in. Maybe not if you already have PE I guess? Anyway, wishing you easy squeezy sort of thoughts. Smile

MammaInTheMaking · 12/04/2012 08:22

Mamma: 2.50pm 9lb 2oz

Am on a train to a meeting in Manchester (groan) and proper shattered. Last few days have become exhausting so this trip is the last thing I need really.

They sound like promising signs fools, let's hope for some time early next week?

Hope you keep feeling more and more chipper Bun. Although I am now very 'sorted' in my head I do have worries of my old enemy depression creeping in. I hope it stays locked up in the box I put it in.

Uurrrggghhhh, such a long day ahead. I'm moany today. BUT it looks like this thread is about to gain a gorgeous new member in Fuzzy Grin

foolserrand · 12/04/2012 08:30

Moan away, Mamma! Can sympathise completely with exhausted. Up until 1, ds crept barged like a herd of fucking buffalo into our bed at around 2.30 and I was then woken up intermittently until I finally gave up at 6.20.

Still, I don't have much that I have to do today so can rest, unlike you with that ghastly journey. Good luck!

Good luck trope Fingers crossed everything goes lovely and painlessly today Smile Please keep us updated AnchorBun! Grin

Davina - 5.33pm 9lb

Thanks for all the booby suggestions Grin The good news is, after some monster feeding between 9.30pm and 12am, the blockage seems to have cleared Smile But will definitely remember them all, in case for when I get another. Am so tired now though, so today will be about catching up on some sleep, if the little madam will let me Sad She's in snacking mode currently, so constantly asking for food, then promptly falling asleep within 2 minutes, no matter what I do!

elliebug · 12/04/2012 08:55

Ellie: 1500 9lb5
Fools, at least you have 1friend, when the baby comes you'll have 2!!! Grin
Trope hope everything goes well and you have fuzzy cuddles really soon
Mamma hope you don't have to sit next to someone smelly on the train
Maybe some sort of nappy/bra thing would help with leaky boobs?? Mine aren't that bad yet

elliebug · 12/04/2012 08:59

Also, did anyone else see in the news about that baby born in Argentina that they thought was stillborn but wasn't? Made me cry!! If I can work out how to link I will, if not on BBC news

AnchorBun · 12/04/2012 09:36

< BONG! > Grin

Pom poms a-go-go ladies!!

Today's plan is; ARM at about 10am, then they're going to leave Trope to it for 6 hours to see how things go (usually they only give women 2 hours!) at which point they'll be pushing for syntocinon. She'll of course have the option to either see how that goes or to refuse it and go straight for a c-section.

"Either way though, by midnight (unless things change pretty dramatically) we should be meeting Fuzzy! Excitement!" Grin

fools we're on turn 100 now or would be if you'd hurry up and play, I've been waiting all morning Grin I wrote 100 at the beginning of it.
Hope today goes quickly for you mamma!
ghost I did look in to lilypadz buy decided they were a false economy, more expensive than disposables and not as reliable so have gone for the silk ones. I currently use disposables during the day but hate the way they feel!
ellie think that story would have us all blubbing by the sounds of things! Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/04/2012 09:46

X posts! Grin excellent name change bun!

AnchorBun · 12/04/2012 09:47

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/04/2012 09:48

Damn it...can I change my bet in light of recent developments?

AnchorBun · 12/04/2012 09:48

Yes, thanks Davina been desperate for a new/good name since Christmas Grin

AnchorBun · 12/04/2012 09:49

Oh and Fools don't tell your DH but I laughed at Anchormum! Grin

AnchorBun · 12/04/2012 09:51

G'wan then Trouble, it's only fair seen as I had more info before placing my bet Smile

MammaInTheMaking · 12/04/2012 10:01

No one smelly thankfully! I'm prob the smelly one as have been eating all journey so I don't starve during the meeting! Grin I didn't see the news story and it's not on my BBC News app. Sad

Ok just pulling into Piccadilly now. Wish me luck. Think I need some invisible match sticks to keep my eyes open today. Oh and loads of these BiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuit !!!

ghosteditor · 12/04/2012 10:35

Good luck today mamma Grin.

Oh and trope GO GO GO!

My bet is 9.34pm, and I'm going low with 7lbs 13oz again Grin

trouble I loathe disposables too! Silk reusables sound nice though.

Just had DD's second round of jabs and she was so brave Grin. Only cried a bit and is thus far still cheery. We're hanging out on the sofa feeding and napping now. And the lovely nurses noticed a bad burn on my arm from the oven and offered to dress it for me, yeys. Smile

Davinaaddict · 12/04/2012 11:29

Hehe - love the name change Bun now why can't I come up with one for me?? Grin

So I've just woken up again and now waiting for Lauren to wake up for her next feed before I go downstairs. Is it mean to prod her? Grin I need my breakfast too, but in true newborn style, no sooner is my food ready than she wants her feed! Ooh there we go - eyes wide awake and having a good look around Smile No prodding required Grin I can't believe she's been here 2 weeks already.

Glad to hear trope is being looked after. Pom poms are out and being shaken vigorously! Come on fuzzy!Grin

And thanks for the heads up on not counting past 100 on Draw - how rubbish is that?!? Ellie I got the backflip so put in magic Grin

I don't mind disposables, but I'm quite fussy about which ones I get, as some Johnsons are just awful! I used Boots own ultra slim last time and was going to use the same again until I found out that the Tommee Tippee ones are cheaper in Asda (and they're pretty much identical to Boots).

Good luck for today Mamma I usually buy some biscuits/sweets for meetings - not only does it make you the popular one, but you can munch to your hearts content Grin

elliebug · 12/04/2012 12:08

Ugh, I keep putting arrows to the wrong part of my drawings and I really can't spell!! I spent ages going 'this looks like cake but I can't make it spell cake' OH takes one look at the screen and spells it straight away, ugh
On another note; I was expecting to have swollen hands and feet but is everywhere!! below the waist normal?

foolserrand · 12/04/2012 12:13

That's where I'm going wrong! I usually show up with a multi pack of pickled onion monster munch :o

Good luck Trope, Fuzzy and Rob Mr Trope!

Having a sneaky check in from my mum's sofa. Have magnanimously decided to let her feed ds and myself after his hair cut so Trouble will have to wait for me to draw for her but I promise it'll be pretty

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/04/2012 13:36

Grin yay, thanks!
9lb 3oz - 5.14pm

McKayz · 12/04/2012 14:06

I've been trying to use the crap Vodafone Internet to post this for 30 minutes so sorry if I have missed anything exciting.

Here goes.

Just had MW appointment. I have to see a consultant and have another scan to compare the sizes on both.

I said I am happy to go to the MLU instead of a homebirth. MW said that they don't induce or do CS usually. They don't like the babies to get too big but if I am happy to try naturally then it should be fine. I am measuring 34cm today though and I am only 30 weeks.

It might all be pointless though as baby is breech. She's been breech since my 28 week appointment. I alway feel like I have a head in my ribs. So I need her to move!

TroubleAndFyfe · 12/04/2012 14:26

Glad they're being flexible with you McKayz! Still plenty of time for baby to turn too. FX! Smile

elliebug · 12/04/2012 14:29

mckayzWhy don't babies read their birth plans?? Hopefully she'll squiggle round and not get too fat Grin When is your next scan planned for?
