Brookybrook for everyone that needs it! Scream I am so not worried for you I know you will kick butt tomorrow and get your way!

There must be another two little boys in the world now?

Good boobing Biscuits! Well you are all fab at it :)
Pomme;
Bloody hell biscuits! What's in your milk?!

Erm Biscuits?? lol

Wants3 · 04/04/2012 20:03

Excited waiting for news of twin boys, scans and more successful appointments!
pomme yes my city has Walls! My village has a roman palace too!:)
I've just got back from an afternoon at DH's brothers house for their 3rd DCs 2nd birthday BBQ. SIL gave me a huge bag of boys clothes to sort through from newborn to 9 months! I don't think I will have to buy clothes at all for this baby:) a lot of it is next and gap which I couldn't afford new anyway! I am going to use the first bit of my maternity leave sorting it all in to clear plastic labelled boxes to make it easier to see what I have!

pommedechocolat · 04/04/2012 20:45

Then you are sooooooo near our office wants!

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 04/04/2012 20:53

Wants, how nice of your SIL! I am thinking I may have to buy some babygros in each size because people have been giving me cute little outfits like dresses, which Bean won't be able to sleep in so comfortably. Still, a couple of six-packs of Tesco/Primark babygros won't break the bank.

Farfalla, hope everything went well!

NinjaChipmunk · 04/04/2012 20:54

Any news? I hope dream is scoffing tea and toast and snuggling her boys. And I hope far is off having a celebratory dinner after a fab scan.

Ooh exciting! More snuffly babies! How many do we have now?

NinjaChipmunk · 04/04/2012 20:56

just seen fars post on the rat smackers thread, fab news!

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 04/04/2012 20:56

Ooops, I meant to say that Ethan's kidney thing must be different, then, Biscuits. Does he have to take antibiotics as a precautionary measure? Maia has to take them until we see the consultant on 8 May, at which point hopefully he will say they aren't necessary any more. It's just in case she did get a UTI, to protect the good kidney. She wees so much that I'm sure there can't be anything much wrong! At least 75% of nappy changes involve her peeing mid-change Hmm

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 04/04/2012 20:57

I didn't get tea and toast when Maia was born!

NinjaChipmunk · 04/04/2012 20:59

I didn't get any when ds was born too I hope they have rectified that part of things for this time. Otherwise I'll be sending dp out!

Wants3 · 04/04/2012 21:12

wanders whether she should walk around with a No Brooking badge on just in case pomme happens to be nearby :)

Biscuitsandtea · 04/04/2012 21:12

Too - they considered giving E the precautionary anti-biotics up until the consultant appt but decided not to in the end. And we had to keep an eye on his wee to make sure it comes in a stream (which many many nappy changes have confirmed!). And he seems to wee plenty too so hopefully it is all ok (for both our small people)

pommedechocolat · 04/04/2012 21:18

I'm wondering if I know you already wants! Don't think so though Smile

I didn't have tea and toast with dd1 (they promised it but it never materialised) but did with Abbie! As I was nil by mouth this time i demolished it on about ten seconds flat Grin

jaggythistle · 04/04/2012 21:30

i got tea and toast in the morning when i was still in recovery after evening emcs.

i was an ungrateful bugger though and puked it up so i had to stay there for a while before being moved to the ward. Blush

going to head for bed, brooking for news when I'm up for a wee in a few hours!

night night. :)

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 04/04/2012 21:37

I hope Dream is enjoying twin snuggles! Also glad to see Farfalla's good news on the ttc thread.

Hmmmm I don't drink tea, I'll have to bring a sachet of hot chocolate with me!

jaggythistle · 04/04/2012 21:48

i don't drink tea either- maybe that's why i was sick. Grin

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 04/04/2012 21:52

Oh. Maybe I didn't get tea and toast because I was on nil by mouth until they could hear bowel sounds from my tummy, which didn't happen until about 8pm when the spinal had worn off completely. Probably by then they had forgotten about the tea and toast. I'd forgotten about the nil by mouth thing!

scarletfingernail · 04/04/2012 22:42

Gah! I was convinced we'd have heard by now, after all it's not like dream will be too busy or anything Grin

So, it's confirmed, my baby is well and truly wedged transverse. Bugger, will now just have to wait for the ECV next week, which I've been advised not to hold out much hope for being successful. Oh, and I also now have SPD. Although I'm not going to start complaining about that at this stage, but bloody hell my inner thighs and even my bum hurts. Scream you deserve a medal for coping with it for as long as you have.

My boys are here. Twin 1, born first at 2:28 is Sebastian Allan, 6lb 9oz, came out very floppy and needed bag and mask but doing great. Twin 2, born 2:29 is Benjamin Philip, 5lb 10 oz (so.growth scan was right, he'd stopped/slowed!), came out fine :-) .I am utterly, utterly besotted. CS was wonderful. Not done the recovery part yet, obviously, still in bed, but a lovely birth. 37+ 6 achieved :-)

Anyway, sorry for not replying in more detail, thanks everyone for lovely posts and thoughts for us. Two mucous-y boys needing attention now (though mummy desperate for some sleep already!) So need to attempt repositioning/ picking up post CS... Will put pic on now.

scarletfingernail · 04/04/2012 23:04

Aww congratulations Dream how wonderful. So lovely to hear that they've arrived safely and the CS was good. I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight and I look forward to hearing more about your boys when you get chance Thanks

Yay Dream! Congratulations! My last check before bed too. I hope you have a smooth first night and such great weights. Is Dh over the moon?:)
