Thanks all for the sympathy It was pretty funny but not helped by the fact that I always pass out when having blood taken, unless I'm lying down. So I was lying on the flipping floor (nothing to lie down on, obviously) whilst being pelted with bits of food.

loopy, one of my husband's friends told him that he'd bought his wife diamonds for each of their 4 children. Because of this I totally got away with demanding a diamond eternity ring when dd1 arrived and have already started discussions about what type of diamond I'd like this time! Don't know how I'm getting away with it

In other news, we're moving house! Just sold our place and had an offer accepted for a new house - potentially could be in by end of April. I feel exhausted just at the thought of packing up all my junk!

We made the announcement last night. We had told parents and siblings over the last week. Hubby even told the in laws!!! Anyway last night I changed my profile pic on Facebook to a baby on board car thingy and just waited for people to notice It was funny seeing their reactions!
The kids are so excited and can't wait to tell everyone.
I know I haven't had me scan yet but sod it. We are happy...things feel ok. I just wanted to shout from the rooftops there is a wee button in my belly and we are thrilled

Gizzy I love your excitement, it really put a smile on my face! :) I think all the cautiousness with foods & not telling people and bla bla bla really doesn't put you in the right frame of mind sometimes

Big barney with dp last night. Stemmed from do missing my grandads birthday meal tonight. Dp is in Liverpool working and it's going to be near on impossible or him to get back in time. It's not that it's a huge deal just I could of done with his support, my sister is going to be there and I'm so worried that once she has had a few she will get nasty. I dont want to miss it. It's not everyday your grandad gets to 88!

Bubble give yourself a break lovely. You are hormonal, tired and sick and have a selfish cow of a sister to contend with too. Anyone in your shoes would have had a meltdown long before now.
Get your glad rags on and go to your grandads party with your head held high. You have nothing to be embarrassed about. A baby is a wonderful thing that will bring much love to your whole family.
The sooner your sister takes her head out of her arse and realises that the better!

Thanks gizzy. I'm planning on s day of pampering to make myself look gorgeous for tonight. I bought a new top and am gonna have to wear it with leggings as it's the only thing that will fit over my ginormous arse! May even stick some false lashes on ( wont be getting drunk so no worries of them sticking to my cheek halfway thru the night) and curl my hair. Depends how energetic I feel later.

Bubble I would defo go tonight all glammed up & show your sister you're not bothered (even though you are,she doesnt need to know that!) Hope it goes well & you enjoy a day of pampering :)

Has anyone gained any weight yet? I've gained 5lbs already, sob :( which the MW very kindly said might just be water retention (it's really not!)

I have Popcorn. Probably about 6lbs, though I'm not completely sure what I was to start with. My stomach's definately bigger than it was and just about all of my trousers & jeans are tight. I'm determined that I'm going to wait until after I've seen the scan before I enter into the world of maternity clothes though.

11wks today, but i'm not sure if baby is the size of a tomato, a lime or a ping pong ball (depending which webpage you look at, also cant decide if they are actually all same size.) lol :o

I don't think I'd have much luck on the diamond front I had a trilogy ring for an engagement ring.

I haven't weighed for a a couple of weeks but last time I did i'd lost weight not gained :( When I went to Drs she took blood tests to make sure nothing odd going on, results on Mon.

I think I've put on 8lbs I seem to have got bigger everywhere especially my bum thighs and hips, rather depressing. Especially as I cant seem to stop stuffing my face with frazzles and rice Krispie squares.

Do you girls have much planned for the weekend?

I have gained 3-5 lb depending on last poop. Lol

So glad it.s friday! Want to wear jeans to work but there is a big meeting on today with Deans from other universities. Oh I might just do it anyways and wear a nice top.

And don't get me started on the tops! My tummy pudge/bloatedness sticks out. Of everything!! Can no longer suck my gut in comfortably.

Oh and had a, rotten sleep, had a nightmare just before I got up that I was having a mc :(

I had lost 8lb but have since put on 3lb again so I am -5lb to my original weight. My jeans are well tight though! I don't look different though. I think being a size 18 I have plenty of hiding space

I plan on moving the chook house tomorrow Bubble. I want to get some more chooks but the ones I have at the min can escape their pen so I need to make it more secure before we get some babies

SO SO pleased! I just can't believe it and am so happy. The sonographer actually moved me later to the 29th October so 3 days later, officially am 7 +4.

I'm going to Asda tonight to buy bicarb of soda

And with the weight chat, I checked myself and so far have put on 4 lbs.

Is anyone else really suffering with sickness? I seem to be getting worse rather than better I have even brought myself some Seabands to see if they do anything lol.
