Ladies, our previous thread was getting full so here is a lovely new shiny home for us all.

I've put some comfy cushions around and plenty of pregnancy safe snacks and drinks. The Segway park is in the corner over there next to the stack of glittery vom buckets (plenty of extra buckets too for all the newbies).

In the corner over here you'll find our library of leaflets including sections on early pregnancy private scan clinics, pushchairs and car seats.

Hope you all like it very much :)

Isn't Meconium on Thurs or Fri?

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 13/09/2011 19:31

Okay Meconium is on Thurs (checked old thread!). I think the only person around 8 weeks unaccounted for (excluding Dream) is Jaggy. Jaggy are you having an early scan? Or waiting until the 12 week one?

I'm not sure who is around 12 weeks except Biscuits?

Biscuitsandtea · 13/09/2011 19:37

Tuesday - Deny (moved from Thursday per earlier post) and Calypso (anyone heard from her in a while? Hope everything's ok if you're lurking).

Wednesday - Scarlet

Thursday - Meconium

Friday - Biscuits

Saturday - Meme and Scream

DenyEverything · 13/09/2011 20:04

Hello all

Manic day, consultant late so had to go back 3 hrs later!
All ok - 12 weeks today but had to have vaginal scan as placenta was in the way. Got lovely pic and get bloods back on fri so fingers crossed.
Thanks for thinking of me ladies really sweet.

Great list biscuits, thinking of all the other girls with scans this week

DenyEverything · 13/09/2011 20:05

Hope calypso went on ok too

Imps7 · 13/09/2011 20:06

Arg, I just peeped in the door of the previous thread to see the dreaded "This thread is too large to accept new messages". I'm ashamed to say that I panicked. But - panic over! I have found you and I am here to declare that I WILL join this thread as a PSEPP and I am BROOKING. NO. ARGUMENT.

Ta ra for now, off to watch the Great British Bake Off.

DenyEverything · 13/09/2011 20:10

Mmmm.
Pies.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 13/09/2011 20:15

As soon as you mentioned pies I knew I would have to find this programme! Mmmmmmm they all look so lovely... pie...... nom nom nom!!!

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 13/09/2011 20:16

Hurrah for deny! so glad it went well for you :)

Wow, what a lot of scans this week. Exciting times and I can just feel the absence of any brooking radiating off the thread.

I'll take some kind of virgin White Russian please. I seem to have developed some crazy milk craving and have already drunk about 3 pints today. Seeing as we generally only have milk in the house when making pancakes this is a mammoth amount for me.

Biscuitsandtea · 13/09/2011 20:23

Oooh I love the great british bake off - recording it for tomorrow though as DH not bovvered Smile

LoveInAColdClimate · 13/09/2011 20:49

Am getting so excited by the fact that all my autumn bulbs are arriving (and have just ordered yet more!) and when they come up the baby will be here! Feel quite emotional over the thought of all the lambs and flowers and babies arriving in spring!

Biscuitsandtea · 13/09/2011 20:58

Quick question, when do I book in with a midwife? When I had my last pregnancies I only had one scan at 20 weeks so things weren't so time sensitive!

knittymum · 13/09/2011 22:04

Hey everyone, may I join you? I brooked no argument and (for once!) it worked. I am now once again a PSEPP, long may it last!

I'll have a virgin Sex On The Beach please, as it's the most action I'll be up for for some time!

dreamfeeder · 13/09/2011 22:25

Hello all! Especially all the lovely new BFP's, knitty, jen and bartlet

Got my scan booked for 6th oct, very excited now! Midwife was nice, let DD pootle round holding/chewing her car keys (close attendance from me, as ever, oh come ON child, fall over like a normal person, not straight onto your head!) She already said I'll be under consultant care which I'm pleased about. have requested which one I want Grin. Asked m/w re:tearing again after grade 3 (we have a friend who had a third degree tear whose consultant recommended c-section as the scar tissue is obviously very fibrous and non-stretchy and he said she was at risk of tearing along edge of her scar tissue-which she had) and she was very non-commital and basically passed the buck to the consultant. Only one hurl today, ate all meals, all good. even remembered my folic acid, yay!

God news deny, how lovely to have seen your baby and all going well.

wants, about 7-8 weeks to see m/w round my area. Thats what I was advised with DD, and went at 7 weeks as we were on hol the next week.

oh, and harvested some of my potatos today and they have blight... really wanted bangers and mash for tea Salvaged a few of the vaguely ok ones but v disappointed
