Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DammitJanit · 30/08/2011 15:32

Last post of gloom here, I promise! Been for the scan, has the miscarriage confirmed, which I thought was definitely the case given the bleeding and cramping. The FC and are sad, but are looking at the boys and feeling so grateful for them. I'm just glad it's nearly over. It's been a long couple of days. Thank you so much for your thoughts and letting me know your experiences, they helped.

Ocarina · 30/08/2011 16:14

Lighting a candle for Biteymum, and sending much love to Janit, the FC and the boys.

Cosmo how can it be nearly a year since Artie arrived???? The ESHoffspring are all growing up fast.

Medee · 30/08/2011 21:23

I have a virtual candle for BiteyMum, and thinking of Janit.

PollyCrystalTits · 30/08/2011 22:02

I'm sorry to hear about your ma BiteMe. Have just lit a candle for you all.

Occy I hope you are doing ok. I hated that overdue time - both of mine really pushed it to the wire and I just about managed to avoid induction on both occasions. But there will be a new ESH baybee soon, yay!

Janit I hope you being well looked after by the FC. I really admire your strength and attitude. Sending you big love and snogs. xxx

Muser · 30/08/2011 22:03

Just wanted to send good wishes to Janit and Biteymum. Hope you get good news bitey.

MadameBoo · 30/08/2011 23:08

Oh Bitey, arms around you lady.

SilverSky · 31/08/2011 08:07

bitesize sorry about poorly mum. Have to agree that colic is an absolute bastard. MB got it at 3wks old and we all went to hell and back though we did find that a couple of things worked for him : swaddling and White noise. It does pass. Promise.

Janit if you're lurking have this jaegerbomb. Thinking of you and your boys.

AlpinePony · 31/08/2011 08:58

janit I hope it won't be long until you're back in PESH.

bitey I'm sorry to hear about your mum and wholly second silv's recommendation to swaddle. Saved our sanity.

truffs Thank you for your extensive denim research. Last time I too used the Next under-the-bump and had no falling down problems with them and they weren't ridiculously long in the leg either. Think I'll re-order.

Cosmosis · 31/08/2011 10:31

Much love to bitey and biteymum.

occo I have no bloody idea how it is nearly a year since Artie arrived. Best year of my life though, that?s for sure.

alps I had some lovely soft mothercare utb jeans which I lived in, in fact I wish I had some non preggo ones to wear now. Funnily enough Artie has a pair that look very similar now!

CurlyCasper · 31/08/2011 12:01

Just popping in to send some love to bitey and biteymum and also to lovely janit. Been thinking of you.

Also thinking of ocars and hoping all is well up there! Smile

MrBitey · 31/08/2011 15:26

Thank you candle lighters, we have had some more positive news today. My mum will be having surgery and more tests next week but things aren't quite as bleak as we thought. Will be asking you all to light those candles again next Thursday.

Will swaddle himself shortly, love that tightly wrapped baybee look Smile

kat2504 · 31/08/2011 19:01

bitey so glad you have had better news today, sending good wishes for next weeks operation

janit hope you are bearing up ok. Sending gin. You have been amazingly strong about this.

MadameBoo · 31/08/2011 20:38

Ah good news Bites xx

rocketleaf · 31/08/2011 21:36

glad things are looking more hopeful bitey been thinking of you and mamabitey today

more hugs and gin for Janet.

gets pompoms at the ready for occers

SilverSky · 31/08/2011 21:46

Especially a sleeping swaddled baybee! Dem's da best! :o Great news about your mum BiteMeWhyDon'tCha!

Medee · 31/08/2011 22:57

EA always looked v cute swaddled - I could never replicate what the nurses did though, they could do it like lightening.

Ocarina · 01/09/2011 15:43

Glad things are looking better with your mum Bitey.

Well, the chest of drawers has arrived before the baby which is helpful. TH asked if I was going to build it while he's at work.... I think that's a project for tomorrow evening; tonight we're off to a welcome event for my new work colleague, so I'm expecting an evening of 'are you still here?' type comments. In the meantime I finally remembered to buy a pineapple so am experimenting with that strategy for getting things moving.

Cosmosis · 01/09/2011 16:46

I never managed to keep artie swaddled for more than 30 seconds I don?t think! I don?t know why as I?m really good at fajitas.

SilverSky · 01/09/2011 17:37

Grin I'm crap at fajitas! We cheated and bought a miracle blanket swaddle.

OC hope the pineapple does the trick!

laurielou · 02/09/2011 08:19

Glad things look a bit more positive for your mum Bitey. Much love & positive thoughts your way.

Grin @ Cos being good at fajitas. I'm rubbish at fajitas & swaddling. Poor BugBoy.

MadameBoo · 04/09/2011 09:36

I can do fajitas but not swaddling. Chicken is easier to wrap than baybees. Fact.

Ariesgirl · 05/09/2011 09:44

This is exciting. Things are starting to move over the border chez Occy. And by moving, I mean southwards

MadameBoo · 05/09/2011 10:54
BarbiesBeaver · 05/09/2011 14:45

Oooh! I go away for a sedate camping trip to come back to good Occy news! How lovely.

Hope everyone is alright, and you all didn't miss me too much.

So sorry about Jannit. Utter shitness.

CurlyCasper · 05/09/2011 18:25
