Sods law she wants feeding when you are out. Bet no one was bothered in the salon tho.

Can't remember if I told you all but I bought little man a Halloween outfit and it has arrived today :). It's so cute! I tried to put a pic up but my laptop died and I'm too fat to can't reach the charger so will upload it tomorrow when DP gets the charger for me tonight.

MadKatz · 15/09/2011 19:05

Evening Ladies,

Cute outfit Iwish Smile

Had a consistent pain in my groin from 4pm yesterday then just felt I needed to wee all the time. Finally got fed up and rang triage at half seven last night...admitted for checkup and I've got a urine infection Confused

Last day at work tomorrow Grin

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 15/09/2011 19:48

Oooh iwish 4/5 engaged! That's good! That's such a cute outfit! Can't wait to see pics of him in it :) me and liz met up today, violet is so adorable! Is your MIL still pestering you all the time?

madkatz that's a bummer, i hope it clears up for you soon! Yay for your last day tomorrow!

gruffalo are you there?

MadKatz · 15/09/2011 20:56

Forgot to ask you ladies to look at my AIBU thread re triage visit last night www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1301343-To-be-fuming-at-this-MW

Iwish · 15/09/2011 21:11

madkatz sorry about the water infection, the last thing you need! Also had a look at your thread and omg!! That sounds like an awful visit!! Midwife sounds like a complete tit.
Woohoo on your last day at work tomorrow. Will you be glad to leave?

melly I forgot you were meeting up, did you have a nice time?
Yeh can't wait to see him in it either. Really want him here now, I just cant wait to meet my little one - please hurry up Joshua!
Nope not heard from her for a few days (that's heck) DP did go and see her yesterday tho. At least it means I don't have to.

Went to see my mum and dad today just to say hi. Got me out of the house for a few hours lol.

lizandlulu · 15/09/2011 23:00

madkatz bummer about the infection, are you taking anytihng for it?

was lovely to meet melly and delish choc cake!!! although i am trying to lose weight and get back into my jeans!

and i got a lovely dress for a wedding i am oging to on saturday, was starting to worry that i was going to have to turn up in elasticated waist jeansGrin

MadKatz · 16/09/2011 07:32

Iwish very mixed emotions this morning re leaving work. I definitely won't miss the tiredness in the evenings and also having some time to myself during the day to do things I want to do, but will miss all my colleagues and uncertainty about the future is overwhelming me again (re how we're going to cope/going back or not going back.etc)
Liz the doc did give me some antibiotics to take. They are already having a positive effect so hopefully will sort this out fairly quickly.

Iwish · 16/09/2011 12:25

Grin at your elasticated waist jeans liz. What's your dress like? Bet you both had a fab time yesterday and the choc cake sounds yum - could just eat some now....

madkatz it is quite sad leaving work isn't it. I had to stop myself from crying opening my cards and prezzies and listening to my bosses speech. Was lovely tho.
Just wait until you are on leave, trying to get everything done in the first few days so you are organised lol. That's what I did anyway as I kept thinking 'what if he's early'. So now I've got everything I'm totally bored lol. It's lovely having a lie in tho, especially if like me you don't sleep at night.

Question for you ladies, I keep waking up and my arm and hand is dead, as if I have been sleeping on it but I know I havnt been. I presumed I had been until last night when I was lay there playing on my phone and it started going tingly then dead. Very wierd.

lizandlulu · 16/09/2011 13:30

iwish it sounds liek it could be carpel tunnel but i thought that was just in the hand. my fingers go numb, mostly at night, but not enough to do anything about it. mention it to the midwife and see what she says. that the standard answer isnt it! 'mention it to your midwife'Grin

this is my dress, size 16 dont you knowGrin (but it is very very stretchy!!)

www.joules.com/en-GB/Womens-Jersey-Dress/Purple/L_LALEHAM/ProductDetail.raction

its not my usual kind of stuff but tried it on in desperation and was suprised how good it looks!

Iwish · 16/09/2011 15:20

Oooh that's a lovely dress liz. You will look lovely in it.

Hmmm just another thing to add to my list of symptoms lol! I will ask my midwife but dont see her for 2 weeks now. It has only been at night when I have noticed the numbness, it's mainly in my fingers but does creep up my arm a little. Oh well!

I'm having a really really lazy day today. Got up at 10:30 and have only just had a shower and I want to go back to sleep! Lazy cow!

Iwish · 16/09/2011 19:19

Question for you ladies...

Does your show always have blood in it?
I've just been to the loo and had LOADS of clear stringy mucus come out. Well loads for me anyway lol.

Iwish · 16/09/2011 19:52

Just been again and a load more stringy stuff, still no blood in it tho.

MadKatz · 16/09/2011 20:02

any other symptoms Iwish? Do you think it could be your mucus plug starting to come away?

Have officially finished work Grin

Iwish · 16/09/2011 20:23

No nothing else madkatz no pain or anything. I was thinking it might just be the start of it since there was no blood.

How was your last day at work?

MadKatz · 16/09/2011 20:34

Very emotional. We went out for a meal after work tonight. I had loads of pressies from different people, a huge card which everyone had signed in our 2 main offices (wasn't expecting that) and £100 gift card from my boss.

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 16/09/2011 20:39

Mine was greeny browny bloody snotty colour :)

That's a nice dress liz, where did you get it from?

My grandmas bought us a new washing machine, i don't even know what it's like, i know its an AEG electrolux and it's a washer-drier, and that's it lol.

Lots of relaxing and late mornings for you now madkatz!

SpaghettiTwirlerAndProud · 16/09/2011 20:42

Oh and RE the tingly hands thing, i got this when i slept with my hands ontop of my bump, i just assumed it was because the blood wasn't flowing upwards very well if you get what i mean? I just moved my hands down so they were on the mattress and the blood came back into them!

Iwish · 16/09/2011 20:50

It had a slight yellow tinge to it melly but wasn't dark. Was mostly clear.
That was v nice of your grandma!
Yeh the tingling stops when I move them, ah well never mind.

madkatz sounds like you had a lovely last day! What prezzies did you get? Time for you to put your feet up now!!

MadKatz · 16/09/2011 21:07

Some toiletries for baby and mum to be, a winnie the pooh baby gro, zoo animals towel, mothercare gift card (don't know how much is on it), baby's 1st drinking beaker, a bath toy and the money from my boss.

Not so bothered by the lie-ins, having been sleeping quite well at nights. And feel I don't see DH enough as it is, so going to get up with him at 6 and then go back to bed after hes gone to work at 7.30. Or thats the plan at the mo!

But I am looking forward to my free time during the day for the next couple of weeks Grin

Iwish · 16/09/2011 21:55

Awww stuff sounds lovely madkatz you can enjoy spending your vouchers when u r off Grin

I had all the intentions in the world to get up with DP, make his brekkie and a coffee then go back to bed when he went to work (I used to do it when I was at work)..... I havnt done it once lol!

This flippin stuff won't stop coming out! There's loads of it.

Iwish · 16/09/2011 22:32

I'm pretty sure my waters are going too but Trickling rather than a massive gush. I put a pad on and have half soaked it in about 5/10 mins.

What the hell do I do lol??!!

KLou111 · 16/09/2011 23:56
