Started TTC in August 2010, 1 has popped, 3 nearly there and 2 over halfway!

Thought I'd put one has popped since we've not heard and we need a new forum!!

just had the 2nd explosive poo incident. was changing her, took nappy off and it squirted all over, like a bloody hose! all up the door frame, all over nappies and wipes in all the nooks and crannies.

and she was up every 2 hours in the night. every bloody 2 hours!!

OMG Liz, I am not looking forward to that!!!! Hope your scar heals soon.

Just had the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers from DH for our Anniversary

i take heart in tha fact that shes not a greedy pup. with me always having been on the bigger side, i would hate for any of my kids to grow up to be my size.
she can be screaming her heart out of a bottle but as soon as you give it to her, she rolls the teat around in her mouth, just to make sure your not poisoning her then lunges at it. and she never swallows the last mouthfull! she has what she wants then lets the rest just dribble out her mouth
she is having 1-2 ounces every 2-3 hours, its very rare she will drink more than 2 ounces. a friend who had a baby the day after me, her baby is having 4 oz! but then i suppose she is probably sleeping better too.

Went to our class last night which was ok. DP didn't like it tho as all the men had to get up and practice bathing a pretend baby lol.
Got midwife appt tomorrow too. I actually look forward to them lol!

Glad it went OK Iwish. I got MW on Thursday

Looks like we will be having our appts very close over the next weeks. My midwife appts are always on a Wednesday. Hope your appt goes well tomorrow :)

So tired this week! Roll on Friday so I can have a bit more kip! I have a consultant appt at 9am but can cone home and have a little sleep

Hi all.

No birth announcement here yet. Still getting some pain low down bit has moved from the left to the middle now. Am getting frustrated now. 39 weeks tomorrow and want this baby out!!! Am up every couple of hours all night thinking about it, and Dh wakes up when I do just in case so we're both not getting any sleep!
Leaking like a good un so that's waking me up too.

Lol Liz on the poo! Where does she get that from!! Hope she settles a bit more for you soon.
iwish glad your class went well. We've got baby basics next week which I think is the bathing etc, we'll have to see if we make it lol.

afternoon all

come ON klou what are you playing at? bet you have people asking you all the time when your due/how long you got left/bet you cant wait to get it out?

i have been today to get some professional photos taken of both my girls (god that sounds odd, both my girls!) i only really wanted pics of the baby, just to capture how small she is, but didnt feel i could take lulu and not get some of her done too! so got some of the baby on a white and pink spotty beanbag type thing, naked, laying in different positions, then on a lambskin in a basket where she then promptly peed all over it at least it wasnt the other variety then lulu got dressed up in a tutu with angel wings and got some reallt lovely shots of her next to a brick wall.
it is all good and well doing these things but i know full well i am going to want to buy them all. but its a local lady who just does it for the love of kids and photos, so shes alot cheaper than those chains like venture, but alot nicer than such as max spielman.
cant wait to get to see them properly.

my scar still playing up, got midwife coming tomorrow to look at it, see if i need more anti biotics.

Can't believe poppy is 7 weeks old on friday! The time has gone soooo fast! It's far too hot here. We had a huge thunderstorm earlier and it chucked it down, this was between 4 and 5pm, the ground is bone dry now!

morning melly we had the same storm as you, it was abit later on but absoloutly hammered it down.

i have started driving, its not the driving thats the problems, its getting the pram in and out, i dont want to just lift it like i would usually and am trying to ease it in and out and resting it on the car. just hope i dont scratch it

well last night was a loooong night, it seems that she didnt settle hardly at all between half 1 and 5. she must have slept, surely its impossible for a newborn to be awake all that time! but she kept waking and stirring and being quite sicky.
she did fianlly settle in a deep sleep at half 6 and lulu was up at 8. had about 3 hours sleepp i think

Well after a little sesh with Dh this morning, had a shower and told bubs to get out now to which Dh replied, I don't think it will be long, you look like you have a head between your legs with that bulge there. Of course, I can't bloody see it, and didn't even think about the mirror of course, but had a feel and there's definitely something new down there lower than it was so hoping not long. 39 weeks today hope haven't got to wait another 3 weeks!!
Had a curry last night do wouldn't want to be the mw if something does happen lol!!

Try and get some sleep today Liz if you can, flag you're driving again :)

i wouldnt have thought you will have to wait that long now, not if the head is right down in place. everyday i come on here expecting to see that you have had it

just waiting for the baby to wake up so i can feed her and go into town, and watching something on the telly about them duggers in america who have 16 kids!!!! however they dont lose a few kids everyday is beyond me

I saw that a few weeks ago. How she could go through it that many times is beyond me!! 2 max here!

Oooh klou it sounds like you can't be too far away from popping! It's so exciting when new babies arrive!! Are your family getting all over excited now it's so close?

Oooh poppy got weighed today, 10lbs exactly and she's perfectly average in every way for her age, weight, length and head circumference :)

Just come from the midwife, all ok, except measuring 33.5 wks when I am only actually 31+1!!!! So for those of you who may know (or want to guess) is it more likely to be a big baby on time or will s/he come early?

My sister had 2 big babies madkatz, 9lbs 12oz, born 8 (i think) days late and 9lbs 1oz, born 5 days late. So it might not matter how big the baby is really. How far gone are you?

Doh! Ignore me, my brain is still quite mushy :o

madkatz I wouldn't worry. I was measuring small by a couple of weeks, then bang on for 6 weeks til last week where mw measured me small, in for scan and bubs slightly bigger than average. They say measuring is only a guide, and it also depends on the mw as it was the same mw that measured me small this time that measurede a few weeks ago with a different mw I'm between measuring me fine.

Family getting all excited yes melly that's an understatement!! Had mil in phone 2 days ago to Dh but i was dishing up dinner (I've still not rang back) must do that tonight. Been texting with my mum every day lol.

Mw rang earlier too with appt time next week and she was asking about things too. Been getting some pressure like feelings low down, she said sounding hopeful and to ring if need anything or want to ask anything, and hopefully won't need appt next week :)
Friends on Facebook all asking too. It's really nice that everyone is excited :)

Wow 7 weeks melly that has gone v quick! Yey Poppy for perfect wright etc. Are you loving being a mummy? my poor feet are awful. My shoes are so tight now that they are cutting into me or I just can't fit into them. It's not nice at all.

madkatz I don't think it means much re measurements. I'm measuring 29 at 31 weeks but midwife didn't seem bothered. And accoring to everyone I know I'm massive

Off work tomorrow. I have an appt with my consultant then I might need to go and find some new shoes. got my scan on Monday to see if the placenta has moved (reaaaally hope it has)
