I was meant to have a scan tomorrow liz as saw MW Thurs afternoon and she said she'd call the Friday and try and get me in then, but was unlikely so would be Monday, but not heard anything.

liz I really enjoyed my shopping trip but was shattered after. We went out at about 11:30 and didn't get home till 5:00! My poor feet looked like little elephants.
Yeh did get a bargain with the bin, was v pleased with myself lol. And the milkybars were yum! Could have eaten a few more, will be sorry come October tho when I've got to lose the weight!
Do you have a matalan near you? You could try there for muslins. My mum told me they sell them there so I'm going to take a look next week.
Sorry you have an infection in your scar, that's another crappy thing for you to deal with but hopefully the anti booting will quickly make it better. Fingers crossed you will be ok to drive too and you can do some shopping and general getting out :)

Well I'm tired today. After shopping Friday I went out into Manchester yesterday with some girls from work. We ate lots of food and they had lots of drinks while I enjoyed my soft drinks lol. Had a crap sleep again last night as it was too hot!
Still getting the little period like pains. Don't hurt or anything, just aware of them when I'm resting. I'm guessing it's another growth spurt lol. I'll be huge!

OMG I have been off for ages and loads has happened on here!
Congratulations Liz and Gruffalo, names sound lovely.
Work has been hectic here, I have had a part time assistant for a while (she finished on friday) but she was very over powering and often sometimes more of a hindrance than help.
And tiredness has really kicked in now, I feel shattered in the evenings when I get home and I don't feel like doing anything. Weekends have been busy too and this humidity is killiing me! Sorry for the moan

Sleeping isn't too much of a problem apart from the fact I'm finding the nights unbearably hot. I even got DH to buy a fan light which FIL put up in our room and has helped a lot, but I have been a bit uncomfy position wise the last few nights too. Bought a curved pillow a few months back but struggling to get used to it
7 full weeks left of work then I'm off, unless of course something unplanned for happens!!

Urgh I wish sleeping wasn't a problem 4 me lol. I don't sleep because I'm uncomfortable, in pain or too hot lol! I am awake between 6 and 12 times a night I would say.
I got one of the long pillows which is ok but I need one for each side haha
Are you booked in for antenatal classes? We have our first one tomorrow and I'm actually quote excited!

iwish matalan is about 15 miles away, i am not desperate for them as i have loads that i used when i had lulu, but no one did pink ones in them days!

and you waking all them times at night is getting you prepared for when the baby comes i was up in the night 4 times, 12.30, 2.30, 5 then half 7 but managed to doze back off again till about half 8. amazinglt she settles straight away every time. i dont want to jinx myself, but i hope she does the same tonight too

Good Luck with your class Iwish. Ours run on a monthly basis here and August was full but I managed to get us booked in for September, just hoping it's not too late!!

iwish i use the muslins rather than bibs, so i get through quite alot, i would say get at least 10. i use them to put under her head in the moses basket and pram too to save the sheets if shes sick.

its different to getting up when your pregnant, (obviousley) at least you can go back to sleep when you feel better. my babes was awake last night from 1.20am till 3. just didnt want to be put down, and wouldnt bring her wind up. but when she did eventually go to sleep at 3, she slept till 7. recon i had abbout 5 hours last night.

oh and isnt it funny how the baby can be crying her eyes out waiting for me to do a bottle and chris wont stir, yet the dog barks once and he is put like a shot to check no one is about

liz thats definitly selective hearing lol! Bet it's hard trying to keep yourself awake when she is crying etc then having to get up early with lulu. Especially if chris sleeps through it all lol.

Well, scan went very well. Bubs' head that far down though, they couldn't get it to move to measure it, so just checked the fluid, heart, and belly size. Am measuring slightly above average and they reckon bubs will be around 8lbs, how accurate it is, we'll have to see.
The pain they reckon was the head moving down.

Seriously had enough now and this tenant needs evicting!! Got DH to 'bang me hard from behind' this morning (sorry if TMI) LMAO, and nada so far. He's gone out shooting with a friend this afternoon, he was a bit about going just in case, so I made him go, just in case lol!!! I said if it's gonna happen, it's bound to happen when you're not here, so GO and it'll happen, still........nada :(

LMFAO at 'bang me hard from behind'!!! maybe you just need to do your own sweep haha!! Go and drive over some big speed bumps too hehe!
Did they guess the predicted weight at your 4d scan? They guessed my Likkle one will be 7-8lbs. Bet he's more like a 9lber!

Well, he got it in there, he can bloody well help getting it out!!!
Didn't predict the weight at 4d scan as they only stayed up the top of baby cos we didn't know the sex so not much they could've done. Even if we'd looked away, due to them recording everything on the DVD, if they'd shown the 'parts' even without us looking, they would've been on the DVD.
Lovely and cool here :) been bit shitty and drizzly last few days, god send really!

Know what you mean about babies smelling of babies, it not right them smelling of anything else. I bet Violets belly button is lovely :) How old is she now??

shes 11 days old today

i dont know how long its supposed to take to heal, it doesnt look pretty tho, its all purple and angry at the area of where its infected, and every so often it will let out a load of gunk. today i hoovered the conservantry, hung the washing out and then sat talking to the health visitor and it just let out a load of wet all over my trousers. NOT NICE!!
