I seem to have spent half the weekend shopping and now have an even bigger pile of baby stuff in the spare room - eeeek. So at least now I feel like we have enough stuff to cope at the very beginning, and there are shops down the road for whatever we need more of. (When I say cope, I'm talking in the loosest possible sense, but at least there are clothes for him/her to wear).

Well, I did what any normal person would do this morning. I weed in a jar and dunked an internet cheapie. Positive, but not positive enough! (I know some of you will know what I mean ). So! on this gloriously wet bank holiday morning, loaded up the car with the baybee and drove nearly 3000 miles to find somewhere selling a clearblue test - found one test for a tenner (!) which I know is no "posher" than an amazon cheapie, so continued. Eventually tracked down a clearblue (10 fucking euros for one measly test ) - got home, dunked, STILL PREGNANT! I've never had a positive from a clearblue before despite having previously spent a gazzilion squid on them.

As for baybee, the round bit at the top of bump is proper round and hard. Like a head. And the kicks and stuff all happen down low or on the left side, level with outy yucky belly button. I even got the doppler out to try to get an idea and it showed heart is on right side parallel with belly button (are you still with me?). Which, when it's written down, sounds like he might be head down on the right with bum up top and legs on left. Or head up and punching on the left and kicking down low. Wah. Have no fucking idea.
