I have got up, had some breakfast and now it all gone quiet. (except for a bit more leakage) I think we might be in for the long haul. But tomorrow would be great as would be LOVELY to lay on MiniGees b'day.

My theory is that I need to get in the hippo zone and can't do that with Sis here so going to take her to the station in a bit and then have a bath and try and get some more kip and see what happens.

muse I know you said your waters 'broke' did they come all at once? I am wondering how much more leaking I am going to do (on 4th night time pad) and how long after that did things kick off?

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 11:07

And yes lozzer COME ON!! :o

MadameBoo · 21/05/2011 11:13

Rocket I had my waters broken but after the initial gush they leaked out slowly and steadily during labour so I think it can vary - if you get up and dance about a bit it might kick things off :o

How far is it to the station?

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 11:22

Sorry I should clarify. TB is taking Sis to the station. :o I am going back to bed.

MadameBoo · 21/05/2011 11:50

Well that's a relief!

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 12:36

Plug has gone but hose to fill pool does not fit on kitchen tape. All these plumbing refs get mighty confusing!

Medee · 21/05/2011 12:40

Woohoo, Rocket, get laying!

It's EA's 8 week birthday today, so Saturdays are good days for laying.

Hope all is well in Scorps-land.

MadameBoo · 21/05/2011 12:46

I hope I'm on the text list Rocket lady - did you get your letter yesterday with the bead? xx

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 12:48

Yes I did boo thank you very much. Am wearing necklace now :-) xx

MadameBoo · 21/05/2011 12:50

Sending you all love and labour vibes - hope you get the dreamy home birth we all dream of.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/05/2011 13:34

Send tb to b & q for plumbing supplies while still can. We had same bloody problem. Thinking of both our layers.

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 14:48

Is sorted! Now all I need is for labour to start or they will try and make me go to hospital in the morning. Bit of a show now but still no surges. Been for a walk, bought pinnapple and homeopathic remedy to kick things off. Now going to have clary sage bath. Send me as many laying vibes as you can please lovely ESH.

Hope scorps is doing ok!!

Truffkin · 21/05/2011 14:55

What a fabulous day in the deli, am stupidly excited at the thought of ESHtwinz! Come on Rocky and Scorps hoping you're snuffling Little Miss Sprout and The Lad soonest.

Rocket your baby shower sounds really lovely and the beads a gorgeous idea, what fab friends you have. Hope it helps you.

I've bought my first 'maternity' clothes today. I had an eye test and don't need glasses so spent the money I'd earmarked for that on 2 maxi dresses from a local shop (not technically maternity but I think they'll work through the summer and they're gorgeous) and a denim skirt from Jojo Maman Bebe! Am excited. Disproportionately so.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/05/2011 15:12

Think hormones have struck me. Just sobbed in sainsbury's as felt like a shit mum as not doing a party for mini g this year and couldn't face baking a cake as in agony if stand for too long. He has Buzz Lightyear cake so hopefully will suffice but feel rubbish. Taking him to Thomas Land instead of a party so hope the pelvis holds up.

Sending more vibes to rocket and score.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/05/2011 15:14

New clothes sound lovely by the way, truff. Am loving my maxi dress at the mo.

Truffkin · 21/05/2011 15:45

Oh Lady you know miniG will love his Buzz cake and trip to Thomas Land (is that Drayton Manor?) so don't feel bad. He'd rather have a happy Mummy and bought cake than poorly Mummy and home baking

LadyGoneGaga · 21/05/2011 16:15

Thanks Truff - rationally I know it's the right thing to do. But emotionally...

Yes, it is Drayton Manor. Not been before so hopefully he will love it. We've got him a bike too so hopefully he will be excited about that. Not his first one though as his Dad bought him one that he keeps at Grandparent's.

Any more Score news?

Orchid12 · 21/05/2011 16:20

Good luck rocket - what brilliant news! Hope sprout makes an appearance soon and you enjoy those lovely first snuffles Smile

scorps hope you're doing ok too my dear. Sending nice, calm sneezy vibes to both you lovely ladies.

We've been to Conkers today in Leciestershire as our last big family day out as a three. I got stupidly emotional as we were leaving as I've been looking forward to this for so long and now it feels like squidge is immiment. This in iteself is exciting, had it not been for my mummy friends of two yesterday who told me their feelings changed towards no.1 child when no. 2 child appeared (and not always in a good way). I sat looking at mini O eating an ice cream and was so overwhelmed with love that I couldn't imagine not feeling this way about him. Mr O thought it was highly amusing and pulled me out of it, but only after I sobbed in the middle of the damn coffee shop - arggh! DHB I am not...

So, you are not alone LGG, I too am a leetle emotional at the moment - must be all the talk of laying that is going on, brings out the soft side in us all! Anyhoo, happy birthday to miniG. He'll love his cake Smile, and his trip to Thomas Land.

LadyGoneGaga · 21/05/2011 16:38

Ah, Orchid. I'm sure you will love Mini O just as much. I guess it's like when they are being a pain in the arse and having tantrums and you're at your wits end and could cheerfully strangle them but you still love them and then they do something sweet and you just melt. And it will be so lovely seeing them interacting together.

I have sat and worried about whether I will love this one as much as I love MiniG - hard to imagine. I'm sure will all be fine though.

laurielou · 21/05/2011 17:05

Holy Fucking Christ, what happened to having a quiet weekend? Grin

I cannot believe that Scorps has PE after everything else. But I bet she's snuffling right now. Squeeeeeeee!

Rocket you bloody queue jumper Grin Your baby shower & necklace sound absolutely gorgeous. And wonderfully timed. Good thoughts coming your way too.

Aries I love seeing you here...............

As for me DUN DUN DUN Nowt. Nothing. No shows, mucas, musical or otherwise. My pubic bone was aching last night, poss Bug burrowing south. But that's all the excitement I can offer I'm afraid. We have been for a walk to try & start off Operation Labour. I'm letting the cluster lay down, aren't I?

What an uber exciting day!

Ginfox · 21/05/2011 18:37

Don't feel too bad Loobyloo. You staying at the top of the list reassures me that I've still got aaaages yet.

On the other hand, the pure excitement of this weekend might make Bug decide to put in an appearance too.

rocketleaf · 21/05/2011 21:20

Thought it was going off before but all gone quiet again. If not in 2nd stage by 7 am will have to go hospital :-(. Just gonna try and get some kip and hope it kicks off in the night but feeling a bit adrenalined up which is counter productive. Send me laying vibes please!!!

Medee · 21/05/2011 21:26

Lay, rocket, lay!

BarbiesBeaver · 21/05/2011 21:31

Safe and easy laying vibes. To loz, rocket and score (if she still needs them). X

Muser · 21/05/2011 21:32

You can do this rocket! Get walking and get that baby moving. I want you snuggling your baby before the sun comes up!
