Raspberry leaf Brew and Biscuit all round.

Continuation from here. No Mofo C bombs yet been dropped in the delivery room although our first 2 babies have arrived. Congrats to gormers and Jo, we hope your little ones are still doing great.

Congratulations April. Can't believe how easy and stress free it sounds when it is your 4th :)

JustKeepSwimming · 27/03/2011 11:49

Congratulations April Grin

The popcorn is definitely heating up now!!

NotAnotherNewNappy · 27/03/2011 12:03

Wow, congratulations April. Sounds like you're a pro Wink

lucielooo · 27/03/2011 12:04

Congratulations April and big hugs to baby Finn :)

Ahh, I'm getting in the mood for a baby here!

Petalouda · 27/03/2011 12:13

Congratulations April!

As this popcorn machine gets going, it's starting to feel a bit more real!

Thaney - I agree with you about the 4th, although I never hope I have that many!

I've just woken up (2nd time - woke up at 8 for brekkie and to put the washing on!) and if I thought my belly was hard before, this morning it felt feels like granite! Sooo painful. Fortunately had good-old-Yoda up in the bedroom, and of course, Yoda cures everything. I got dressed whilst sitting on it!

Can I ask a TMI question?
Does a show always have blood in it? Or is this green snot just even more discharge? (please say something encouraging!)

Right, baby, you've got a midnight deadline to make it onto the census, and to avoid the MW appointment on monday. Get a shuffle on. Plus, your cousin's already eating real food - if you're not careful you won't catch him up.

Have lovely sundays folks.

Cyclebump · 27/03/2011 12:39

Congratulations April!

I LOVE the name Finn, but DP won't let me gave it Smile

It's so exciting hearing about babies arriving, I'm so hoping mine won't make me wait too long. Is it 10 days they let you go over or two weeks?

BeetleBaby · 27/03/2011 12:41

Congratulations April and welcome to baby Finn! I was only joking that I would expect to see a new arrival announced everytime in log into MN!

Can someone pass the popcorn vibes this way as well please? I'm ready to have this one now after it spent the morning with it's bum wedged under my ribs...again. Ended up doing some gardening in the hope that it would encourage Little Insect to wiggle round a bit, which it did, though I'll spending the afternoon on my yoda ball as well to encourage baby to stay in this (slightly) more comfy position!

Petal I'm intrigued about how you managed to get dressed while sat on your yoda ball. I have enough trouble not falling off when I'm just sat on it!

Hope everyone is having nice, relaxing, sunny Sundays, especially those with their babies to cuddle!

Petalouda · 27/03/2011 12:47

Ah Beetle what I lack in physical fitness I make up for in balance (most of the time) but DH has injured himself falling off it plenty of times!

He had an extreme breakfast this morning, eating while sat on the Yoda ball!

Mmm, just had a bowl of porridge from Hugh F-W's recipe I watched last night. Brilliant!

lucielooo · 27/03/2011 13:25

Petal from what I know (all second hand..) greeny snot sounds very much like a show Grin

Petalouda · 27/03/2011 13:37

Ace, Lucie, you might just have made my day! First definite sign of progress!

JenAT · 27/03/2011 13:41

petal no idea about what constitutes a show really but here's hoping greeny snot does!

April congratulations on the arrival of Finn. 6 hrs from start to finish with no stitches or pain relief, wow!

The popcorn pan is really starting to get hot now!! pop, pop, pop.

ecuse · 27/03/2011 14:32

Oh my goodness, I haven't checked since leaving work on Friday evening, I log in on Sunday morning and we have three more babies. CONGRATULATIONS, stuffed, LJB and April, that's amazing!!

LisMcA · 27/03/2011 14:46

Petal I concur on the greeny snot being a show! Mine has been coming away in little bits for the last week or so! Sometimes its green sometimes its a bit brownish. Along with the really milky discharge (I thought I was leaking PVA glue :)) I am taking it all as a good sign!!

Although due date is 16th, so I'll probably go 2 weeks late and still be sitting here all by myself when Wills and Kate get married!

Petalouda · 27/03/2011 14:51

Thanks for that Lis, hope you won't still be pg then!

I've just had loads more "snot" and getting really bad aches under my bump (lower belly & fanjo region).

Is it more annoying nothing? Is it something? I've just text'd DH (who's at work) - I don't want to call him home if it's going to be like the BH's a week ago!

Ooh, a bit shivery! Might go in the bath. Confused

Can you tell I'm home alone with only MN for company?!

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 27/03/2011 15:03

Ooooh petal take a bath and see how you go. It might help with the aching and apparently true labour will continue whether you bath or not so if it's more annoying nothing it'll calm it down. How long til DH gets home?

You're unlikely to still be around, lis. You'll probably be watching the Royal Wedding hooked up a syntocin drip if baby's not put in an appearance!

OP posts:
Petalouda · 27/03/2011 15:10

You're right, Frak.

DH'll be home about 6, but can be here in about 40 mins if I say the word!

I've found a contraction timer online, and it is coming in waves. But about 3 mins apart and only lasting about 30 seconds. Definitely different to BHs.

This could be very embarrassing when I'm still pg tomorrow!

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 27/03/2011 15:17

Different to BHs is good!!! I'm so excited for you Grin

OP posts:
LisMcA · 27/03/2011 15:26

But we are having a tea party for the wedding!! Must have baby before then!

Can you bounce a baby out on a yoda ball?!!

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 27/03/2011 15:35

Try it and tell me how it goes! I'm focused on keeping this one in fir now but come next Monday I'll be willing things along with the rest of you.

I'm caught in this evil trap - every time baby shifts or jabs I worry it's the start of something but when it doesn't move I worry something's wrong. And I'm not getting reassuring kicks either now, it's whole body movements...

OP posts:
LisMcA · 27/03/2011 15:39

Yep every twinge kick or punch has you thinking, does that feel normal?

Everytime I ooh or ahh, DH shoots up and asks if I'm ok!

Remember ladies we are not the only nervous ones!!

Petalouda · 27/03/2011 16:34

well, they're still going and DH is on the way home.

The immediate relief from the bath was amazing, but I don't like lying on my back, and it was too small to sit cross-legged sideways in there for long!

Yoda-ball-of-joy is the best place ever!

Still 2:30-3 mins apart, but lasting over a minute now.

JustKeepSwimming · 27/03/2011 17:13

Woohoo Petal - good luck, keep upright, active, as comfy as you can. Experiment with different positions - kneeling on the floor leaning on a sofa for eg to see what suits you.

Hope DH gets back soon!

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 27/03/2011 17:16

Ohhhh this is so exciting!

Naive first timer question - what does it feel like?

OP posts:
Petalouda · 27/03/2011 17:40

DH is home, I'm plugged into the TENS (which is just weird - not sure it's actually doing anything).

Spoken to the MW, my mum & my sis.

Think I need to stop faffing and start zoning out!

I'll love you and leave you and hopefully report back with some actual news later! x
