were all safely in the third trimester now and all startin or due to start our mat leave!!
scarey thought for you all its only 67 days til xmas so not long to go before our babies are all hear and makin themselves at home!!! yikes!!

well I'm back from having my eyelashes done. It's really odd how they perm them but the result is really spectacular - no mascara for me for the next 6 weeks Just think - all those piccie of me and new baby. I'll have no makeup on but at least it will look like I've put on mascara - I'd higly recommend having it done ladies

DQ - I really hope the reason you haven't posted today has nothing to do with me. I didn't mean to upset or offend you - please forgive me!

i tint my eyelashes when i can be bothered. I am a qualified Beauty Therapist so have all the kit here. Never had them permed though, it gives them a lift i believe? Am due a leg and bikini wax and also a hair cut bfore the baby gets here... its true you need to look the best ou can so as to feel good about yrself! Maybe i might try and squeexe in a massage and pedicure too!!!!

I have never heard of permed eyelashes before. I'm a bit of a tomboy at heart so I've never grasped all these things.
I think it sounds a great idea before you give birth though.
I might have to find somewhere nearby & go & treat myself.

dh had a car accident on the way home tonight. hes okay but omg, you should see his car. he was travelling along about 40mph, and someone pulled out from a layby without looking and hit the back/side of his car, which sent him spinning across the traffic(!) into the air, -somehow it didnt flip-, and thro a group of trees.for several feet. how he missed the trees i dont know. the pictures of the scene are horrible and his car is so bad, I cried when i saw it. hes gone to be checked over at the hospital now, as hes hurting in his hips etc.
i have had one long braxton hicks since his phone call
i dont know how he survived that in one piece but he did. thank god.

I'm so glad that he is OK DQ. What a terrible experience for him and a terrible shock for you.

I hope he comes away from hospital with the all clear.

Shite, DQ sorry to hear that, its awful when something like that happens, alasy makes you think of the worst. But kep your cool, he sounds like hes going to be ok, and the car, well the cars a car and it wasnt his fault so more than anyhting its a bloody inconvenience..... Be positive and stong it will all turn out ok in the end!

Oh bloody hell DQ!!! Thank goodness your dh is OK. You must be in such a state.

Try and keep calm - and just keep remembering that dh is safe and well.

cant believe its the afernoon already where does the time go....31wks today and alls well, had apt with GP this morning, babies head down but is lying on the right handside, still a few weeks to go though and even if she doesnt move over to the left i am assured it will be ok ! Iron levels down so have to take the dreaded tablets....hoping they are not going to 'bung' me up too much!! Also got my Mat1 B form from him and hes signed me off till mat leave starts on the 25th Nov...so thats it offfffficially no more work for me!!!Part of me is happy about that , part of me is a bit daunted at it...no doubt i will be ok in the end...
Going to a Halloween day party ( mainly to meet some peope as i dont know anyone else round here yet )with NCT at 2 oclock will take my spider cakes to try and impress!! Then got oseopath at 3 30...busy busy where does the time go !!

Jay have a good nct party...am jealous..feel like ive been cooped up for ages..but then we havent been anywhere since sunday..lol

Well I am now in pain as I have just cut the grass for winter and it was a hard task as i have not done it for about 6wks. DH kept saying he would but never got around to it...he is currently stripping the dining room which is a nightmare as we have a through living/dining room. So been trying to keep adam busy in the garden. Need to go and make some lunch.

hey ladies, thanks for well wishes, dh si fine, abit shaken and achey but fine, having a day off today to relax and sort out insurance etc.. car is prob a write off,it was new too luckily his hire car arrives this after noon so no not too much hassle re that part.

It is now official I will not be having my baby till after Christmas, I tempted fate a little bit too much yesterday by buying the cutest santa outfit ever for him, so yes expect me to go well over due. I just couldn't help myself.

I've been out shopping all day with my sis who I haven't seen in ages. Had a lovely time and managed to get a bit of a bargain Tommee Tippee steam sterilizer. On offer for £20 (from £40) in Boots last week but they forgot to take the ticket off for this week so they honoured it for me plus gave me a £5 No 7 voucher & triple points - Result!

I looked at the Christmas clothes in M&Ps, they are so gorgeous. Very cute but I've played it safe & not bought any - does that mean my little bundle will be here for Christmas day then?

Decided I love any hats or hoods or bootees with ears - does that make me crazy!!

DQ - really pleased to hear that your dh is feeling OK. I know what a shock these things can be - dh and I were in a serious crash with some friends a few years ago. When the car was recovered it made a horrific sight! It makes you relise how lucky you were.

ninah, yes sounds like head either moving down or engaging. I was in quite alot of pain in the pubic area for about 2 days when it happened to me. I found it very diffeicult to get comfortable.

george - great Boots bargains. I got loads of points the other day coz I brought loads of 3 for 2 smellies as prezzies. I love a good bargain

thats what I was hoping ninah - but apparently just because the head is engaged early it doesn't mean the baby will come early. My mw took great pleasure in telling me that when my eyes lit up at the prospect of an early arrival!

hey ladies, back and still in one piece from the NCT party...my goodness how many kiddies!!!! How much noise!!!!! how much crying !!!! how sweet they all looked dressed up!! The cakes went down a storm, was a bit strange going in there not knowing anyone, but my line was ' i dont have a baby yet but i do bring cakes...' lol it was well recieved. Met a few Mums, one who was with her DD of 6weeks..so sweet and edible! i even managed a little hold, everyone was so nice!
Nice to see some more pics up on the site from different months, pleased that people are using it! Still plenty of you that could post something!!!
Seems abit quite on here, not as many posts as the past coiple of days, is everyone ok?

dp has informed me that hes goin to decorate our bedroom tomorrow so im over the moon!! iv been on at him for six months to do it and hes finally given in!! so ill more than likely be on here for most of the day and keep out of his way so he cant rope me into helping!! yay im made up!!
