lol@ baths in the sink.... reminded me off times when i was little and we lived in Germany. Parents would come home to UK on leave and my Grandma had a masssssive kitchen sink she used to bath me and my sis in that with her calor gas fire going full throttle. All the windows used to steam up but it was so warm and homely.... awwww memories!
I too am still that big kid EI, last yr i had a sparkler party for bonfire night, we must of buoght out the whole stock from our local shops!!

Morning all,

Have hosp app today.. Will that nervous feeling ever go!! still get it and i am 7 months gone!

God it is pissing down here a real horrible day!

Has anyone considered the stem cells thing??

george32 · 25/10/2005 09:01

Good luck at your appointment Minnie. I'm sure it will be fine. Eat some choccy before you go so your little one can reasure you by kicking lumps out of you!

Nemo, where have you been hiding? Hope you are OK. Great news about Yingers & now J&BM!

TP Tuesday today & I have a good feeling that I've got bigger! Will eat massive amounts and measure later to make sure I finally go up a square!

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 09:16

Minnie - unfortunatly I think that nervous feeling is stuck with us forever - I've found myself panicing about things I'm NOT going to post on here because they are far too stupid and far fetched!!!!

I've got a mw appt today - horrible Anti D injection and more blood tests

I'm also off ot register at a dentist's - something I'm terrified of

So, exciting day all round for me then, hows everyone else?

Nemo666 · 25/10/2005 09:45

morning all..im ok just been miserable so not been on. Trying to sell loads more stuff again to make money for the carpet laying..lol.

hope you are all well

george32 · 25/10/2005 09:46

More bloods SH? They just love sticking needles in you don't they.

I had to brave the dentists about 6 months ago when a tooth cracked. I'd not been for years and was terrified, I'm sure I was shaking in the chair. I promise, it won't hurt. Close your eyes & pretend you are somewhere else.
Good luck.

george32 · 25/10/2005 09:48

Are you feeling better now Nemo? I don't like it when you are miserable.

You could get me & DQ round to do the carpet laying - we spend every evening kneeling with our bums in the air anyway!!

Nemo666 · 25/10/2005 09:51

george not really but hey ho...have had some problems with dh aswell which hasnt helped so just generally plodding along.

george32 · 25/10/2005 09:55

I'm sorry. You can always e-mail me if you feel like a moan.
I'll send you up some of my lemon cake & a cup of tea to cheer you up.

Nemo666 · 25/10/2005 09:57

thanks george..i had a moaning thread on here for a bit over the weekend but a few people put it down to my depression so i gave up..lol

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 09:59

george - yes, just call me Mrs pin csuhion!!! It's the joys of being Rehsus Negative (or however you spell it!)

Not actually going to the dentist today - just going to register. Hopefully they won't be able to fit me in for weeks and weeks! The last time I went was just after I had dd. I needed 8 fillings. Managed to get 4 done and then chickened out so I'm dreading going this time round. Once every 6 years is more than enough

MINNIE1 · 25/10/2005 10:44

Nemo666
Your aloud to moan your pregnant! I had a go at DP last night cause he was going to spray deep heat in the bedroom, when i asked him to go to another room he went to the hall !!!! leaving the smell of deep heat all over the house!!!! then i found he used all the hot water!!! and i had to shower in the small electrical shower that i can just about fit in!!!! he said if your in one of those moods !!!! i nearly lost the plot altogether!!!!! Needless to say there was no bedroom activity in our house again last night!!!

Now there is a rant!!! sorry ladies but that feels better..

We're talking again this morning only because he tickled my feet while putting on my socks!!! How could i resist he is a little sweety...

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 10:49

Grrrr at your dh's!!!!

Mine has a bad tooth at the moment. He has spendt the best part of a week with his finder is his mouth poking at it - so the other night I said "For god's sake go and get it sorted out and stop going on about it"

To which he replied (sarcastically):-

"I wish you'd stop going on about being pregnant, and how uncomfortable you are"

Well, it's hardly the same thing is it FGS!!!! Gggrrrrrr

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 10:50

typing is terrible today - I meant, he has spent the best part of a week with his finger in his mouth...

MINNIE1 · 25/10/2005 10:59

LOL SH...

I hate it when DP says that "complaining about being PG" were not really complaining were just letting them know!

Nemo666 · 25/10/2005 11:00

lol at your dhs...
feel a little better now as have just made some cookies which are in the oven.

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 11:07

He didn't really mean it - I guess he was just trying to make a point. Not a very good one IMO!!!!

george32 · 25/10/2005 11:08

LOL, baking lovely sweet goodies is the answer!!

I think my DP is a bit fed up of the whole pregnancy thing now. I guess it is a novelty to start but he's another one fed up with me moaning and flapping around on the floor trying to get up!

I have a question that one of you may be able to help me with. I'm a bit concerned as my DP snores terribly. I've had to resign myself to wearing ear plugs to get any sleep but what do we do when the baby comess? I've tried taking them out this week ending in DP sleeping in another room when I start moaning at him to shut up. 9 weeks to go and I'm a bit worried that non of us will get any sleep!

Nemo666 · 25/10/2005 11:10

are you worried about hearing the baby or about the baby not sleeping cos of dh snoring.
Baby will sleep through the snoring and to be honest you will probably find your dp volunteers to leave the bedroom anyway...lol

george32 · 25/10/2005 11:13

Both really. Esp hearing the baby as I can't see how I will ever get any sleep if I don't wear ear-plugs (LOL, no wonder I forget to have sex, I'm too busy putting ear-plugs in!! )

I'll probably change my mind when the baby arrives but I don't want us to have to sleep in seperate rooms. Do you think it will be OK to wear them still, I guess DP will hear the baby if I don't?

sweetheart · 25/10/2005 11:17

george - the baby will probably sleep through your dh's snoring. Also, you will be so tired you will probably sleep through it too

I can't explain how exactly, but you will wake up when the baby wakes. Something maternal seems to kick in!
