I kNow it is belsated but congratulations everyone, from june 04 mummy. I cant believe that in 7 months I will have a two year old (and a 9.5 year old).

Good luck everyone, and take care.

abbey1515 · 18/11/2005 11:12

Have just seen tiny little jumper my grandma is knitting for the bean! It's absolutely dinky!
Flum- EB is a genetic blistering skin condition- really severe in babies so am just praying...Every time the phone goes my heart races! I just hope they call today, not sure if I can wait till Monday!

Diddle · 18/11/2005 12:16

fingers crossed for you abbey, and will you find out if its a boy or a girl today, or was that a general comment about whether you will ask them to check?

abbey1515 · 18/11/2005 13:31

Have asked them to tell me if it a boy or a girl as can't wait to find out, so will find out when get results.
Isn't it exciting seeing the scan? it seems ages to wait for the next one...I'm 11 weeks today.

Laura032004 · 18/11/2005 13:33

abbey1515 - really hope that you have good results today. Thinking of you.

Got my scan date through the post today 12th December, so only a few weeks to wait now.

My mum will be pleased as she's back from Cyprus (they live out there) for 10 days, and it coincides with those dates. She came to my scan for ds as dh was away at sea. This will be the first one dh has ever been too.

slinkstah · 18/11/2005 13:46

hi everyone, yep 9 weeks today for me and i think i felt sick this morning, morning sickness has finally started, better late than never eh?

good luck with your results abbey

Diddle · 18/11/2005 14:20

excellent slink - hope the morning sickness continues for you

abbey - i'm 11 wks today too, does that make us the same due date. i' due 9th june? are you?

Dana · 18/11/2005 14:52

Hi Girls

Diddle, glad to see your scan went well.

Just back from Berlin so haven't had a chance to catch up properly yet (you've been very chatty lately), but will add my stats:

me: 26 (Danish)
DH: 32 (Scottish)
DS: 2 1/2
EDD: 11/6/06
live: Denmark

Need to wear loose tops to hide pregnancy now. When I wear my usual clothes you can see a little bump. But at least I look preg, and not like I've just put on a bit of weight, which was the case for a long time with last pregnancy.

abbey1515 · 19/11/2005 11:15

Diddle- yes, am due around June 9th too! I think sickness is starting to wear off (I hope!) What about you? Am going to start telling people next Monday, I think.
Didn't get results yesterday, so I'll have to wait a whole weekend

BEKsmum · 19/11/2005 21:49

Sorry to burst in girls, just wanted to say hi to Diddle & to see how she is. Hope you're doing ok and feeling well, am so pleased to see that you are 11 weeks already. Hope to catch up with you soon, cat me & let me know how you are getting on. Beks

LilacBump · 20/11/2005 09:23

hi girls, i got my hospital appointment through yesterday. midwife said it was going to be at 12 weeks (so this week), but it is actually for the 9th of december, when i will be 14 weeks. it's going to take 2-3 hours, probably because it'll be a dating scan and i'll see the consultant too.
i still feel sick occasionally, but it goes very quickly. i hope this is it now for this pregnancy. i keep feeling the baby move, which is lovely. my SIL has given me a big bag of baby clothes that her 6week old has grown out of already.

Diddle · 20/11/2005 09:46

abbey - my sickness hasn't been as bad the last day or two, so hopefully its going.
Can't wait to feel baby kick.

abbey1515 · 20/11/2005 17:25

Hi, I'd love to feel it move! Lilacbump, what does it feel like? I keep lying in bed wondering if I can feel it, but don't think so- sure it's just my stomach gurgling as I'm just living on crumpets with lemon curd and chocolate milk!

Flum · 20/11/2005 21:00

mmmm, my crumpet intake has risen too. Gotta go on a work 'team building - outdoor pursuits day on Tuesday. Hope its not tooo strenous - youch.

abbey1515 · 20/11/2005 21:20

Flum, that sounds awful! I'm sure you'll be told to 'think outside the box' several times!
Good luck with it!

LilacBump · 20/11/2005 21:39

abbey, it feels like flutters, little bubbles, wind. and sometimes i can feel something shifting, which i definitely remember from DD, but much later on in the pregnancy. DP pointed out today that maybe the reason i feel it so early is because there might be twins in there.
flum, am i right that you are still trying to keep quiet at work about your pregnancy? i hope you won't have to let it slip on tuesday if they want you do any dangerous stunts!

Flum · 20/11/2005 21:42

nah, cozif it was twins wouldn't they be smaller and so less likely to feel? or do they end up smaller as they run out of room and start off normal size.

will defo have to 'think outside the box' probably a bit of 'helicopter thinking' but hopefully by the end we will all be'singing off the same hymn sheet' not to mention having 'all our ducks in a row' - going forward (bleurgh!!)

Flum · 20/11/2005 21:43

I'm sure it must be only wind this early because the foetus is too small to feel isn't it, and also in large sac of ammnio so not really touching sides anyway. I'm sure they sa the earliest posslible timefor quickening is 16 weeks

abbey1515 · 20/11/2005 22:06

Poor you, Flum, do take care! The last one I went on one we had to build rafts and then sail into the middle of a lake...not to mention the abseiling!
I'm sure it will be a while till I feel it move-I've so much padding! I hardly eat at the minute, it's so unfair!

Flum · 20/11/2005 22:34

I'm sure it will be gentle. we are Analysts not Marines.

I want to feel moving but only feel belly gurgles at the moment.
I don'tthink I'll fully believe there is someone inthere until it moves.

Curlycapers · 21/11/2005 16:07

Hi! How are you all feeling today?
I thought that my morning sickness had gone but it caught me out today. To cut a long and gross story short, all over the washing up in the bowl. Luckily DH hadn't left for work and sorted it out for me (what a star, eh?)
I saw a newborn baby at ds' school today and nearly cried, I can't believe I'm getting another one!!
I can't wait for the children to see it, when dd was born ds ran into the room and shouted "We've got a cute one!!"

jinglediddle · 21/11/2005 17:09

how sweet curlycapers - kids are so funny sometimes. not so sweet about your little incident earlier. thought mine was going away too, but its not, back horrible today.

LilacBump · 22/11/2005 09:23

i am 12 weeks today. so glad to have made it to that milestone.

has anyone received their nhs card for free presciptions etc yet?

abbey1515 · 22/11/2005 09:35

I have a form to fill in and get signed re prescriptions but not done it yet.
