good luck for the results abbey hope its all good.

My midwife sent my form off, supposedly, have not received anything at all yet though and i saw her about a month ago. hmm wonder if theres any way to chase it?

feeling ok so far today, gonna get some housework done while i still feel alright. Felt awful last night, went to bed at 8.00pm, not doing too well in the evenings, very odd.
hope it starts to get better soon, i'll be 12 wks on friday too. don't want 5 months of morning sickness.

Laura032004 · 22/11/2005 11:45

Good morning everybody

Congratulations LilacBump Very as I'm only 10w tomorrow!

Thinking of you abbey1515 - hope you get the results you want.

I got my exemption card yesterday. My MW did the form on the 10th, so it hasn't taken long to come through. The contact number on the letter is 0845 601 8076 (which is the prescription pricing authority). I had to get a prescription the other day though, and I just said I was pg, but didn't have the card yet, and they were fine about it.

Feeling a lot better than I was. The extreme tiredness has gone now, and the nausea is loads better. I was worried I was feeling so well, and then it hit me again today, so I feel a bit happier! Can't wait until my scan when I know for definite I'm not just making this up - only 20 days to wait then!

LilacBump · 22/11/2005 12:02

laura, i had to get a presciption the other week and they just believed me too. i might give them a ring, thanks for the number.

jinglediddle · 22/11/2005 12:50

is anyone getting any cravings etc, (should we have those yet) I had a strong need for a suasage roll today, has to scrape together some change from my purse and bought 8! have already eaten 2, yummy.

and is anyone having normal household smells making them feel even more nauseous?

LilacBump · 22/11/2005 15:42

diddle, i have had a few cravings. rice pudding and chocolate mousse (but failed to eat any as it has either gelatine or raw egg in it). and one strange one... i craved chips and coke from the tesco café, no other chips would do. i walked down and was really looking forward to eating it... and then found the café was shut for refurbishment and would be for the next two weeks!

jinglediddle · 22/11/2005 16:25

lilacbump - my ambrosia rice pud doesn't have raw egg or gealtine in it. couldn't you ahve that?

LilacBump · 22/11/2005 16:35

sorry, i meant just the chocolate mousse

jinglediddle · 22/11/2005 18:24

phew, thought i'd been eating something i shouldn't for a min there.

abbey1515 · 22/11/2005 19:58

Hi there everyone

Midwife called at 5pm- with good news!
The CVS tests have come back clear, and the baby doesn't have Epidermolysis Bullosa- I can't believe it! I was so sure, with there being a 50:50 chance of it, that we would be unlucky!
Thanks for your support (wish I could have big glass of wine now)

LilacBump · 22/11/2005 21:04

abbey, i'm so glad to hear your good news!!!

jinglediddle · 23/11/2005 07:53

thats excellent abbey - i bet you're so relieved, and fancy making you wait so long, they have no sense of urgency at all.

LilacBump · 23/11/2005 08:42

morethan1 - welcome to the group, totally understand your miscarriage worry, i have had 2 this year already, and I am finally calming down about the whole idea. Hopefully this baby is here to stay. You'll find lots of support here.
Are you having much morning sickness?

hannibo · 24/11/2005 08:14

hi everyone, i have to leave this thread as i found out at my 12wk scan i was carrying a missed miscarriage. I spent yesterday in hospital having medical management so am no longer pregnant. The last few days have been horrendous and a terrible shock to dh and i.
Good luck girls over the next six/seven months and i wish happy healthy pregnancies on each and everyone of you.

LilacBump · 24/11/2005 09:03

Laura032004 · 25/11/2005 08:21

Bugs - hope you are feeling a bit better. Good luck for your scan today

morethan1 - Congratulations & welcome Glad to hear that your scan went well.

LilacBump - glad you got that sorted. Doctors!!!

Well, my exciting news for the day is that I'm having a scan at 11.30am. I've been having mild cramps for a couple of days, nothing serious, but enough to have me worrying. I rang the MW yesterday, and as I'm rhesus negative, it's important that they check that nothing serious is going on in case there is any bleeding, so I'm booked in for a scan today. I so hope that everything is fine. I'll report back later.
