Welcome Daisybump sorry to hear that you are feeling ill and low. There is a thread on AND that might be helpful to you? Glad to hear that your DH is being helpful, it makes all the difference

Only two weeks then until your scan LilacBump I can't wait until mine. Can't imagine how I managed 20w last time

Laura032004 · 07/11/2005 18:12

Sorry Daisybump - put DH instead of DP

Diddle · 08/11/2005 08:11

welcome daisybump, congratulations on your pregnancy

lilacbump, glad you've seen the midwife and the ball is now rolling.

Feeling pretty naff still at the moment, still feeling sick most of the time, although it is better when i have stayed in a bed a bit longer, which is impossible week days. Belly is feeling huge, and its only gonna get bigger.

Hellooooo all. What a poorly lot. Hope peoples health is improving. Horrible being poorly when preggars as you just worry for baby.

As for me. Well i must admit to feeling totally exhausted. It reminds me of my student days. It is really getting to me as I can't even be bothered to do things i want to do.

The house is squalid and the laundry and ironing is piling up. Have to get my act together as we have 6 house guests this weekend so several big meals to plan, shop for and prepare, lots of beds to be made not to mention cleaning. Not looking forward to it, just putting it off. Am looking forward to the weekend itself though!

New job starting Monday my DD 21 months is being double cute and I am feeling desperate about leaving her full time, but no choice so.......

.... thats my news, other symptoms. Put on 2 lb, waking up to wee wee and have to carry my bosom around in my hands for first 10 minutes in the morning !!!!

hannibo · 08/11/2005 20:13

hi all, gosh its all go! i am also feeling utterly exhausted and nausous only have enough energy for the most important things like looking after dd and work, my house is also squalid with laundry and ironing piling high.
I have my first midwife appointment on monday and my first scan on the 21st.
only other thing is my tummy is looking very pot bellied now and iam 10wks 3days.

Diddle · 09/11/2005 07:49

well looks like we're all feeling pretty similar, i also feel cream crackered and naseous. House is a tip, ironing is growing by the second, and i just don't have the energy to do anything but sleep, work and watch TV. Think DH is getting a little annoyed that I'm not my usual "cleaning Fairy" self. but i just can't muster the energy, wish i could.

Have my dating scan tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. DH managed to get the afternoon off to come with me. He's all excited too .

Thanks Lilac, and thanks for updating the list. Haven't had much time to be on here lately.

DS is sick, so I am off work - again. Have placed him in front of "Piglets big movie", so that I can get some work done. Better get on with it then, I suppose.....

I havent posted for a while as ive been feeling really bad, spent all day sunday and monday with my head down the toilet. Got my booking in appointment with the MW tomorrow also hoping to get a dating scan sometime soon.

Hope you are all well and congratz to the new ladies on the board

BabyBelly · 10/11/2005 05:47

Sounds like everyone is going through the same thing. I have been feeling nauseous and tired for the past 2 weeks. Every morning has turned into a ritual of brushing my teeth, throwing up and then shower. This is my first pregnancy and I must say that I never expected to feel like this. I?m just waiting to reach the 12week mark! And
It is also hard having to sit in the office and concentrate on work when I feel like throwing up. Tomorrow is my first appointment with the doctor. Up till now I have just done the home pregnancy test.

Has everyone been for a check up already? Done the scanning and all?
How did it feel seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat? I am worried about tomorrow?s check up and am praying that all will be well.

LilacBump · 10/11/2005 09:21

babybelly, good luck with your check-up. i can only tell you how it felt seeing DD on the screen when i had my first scan. it was so wonderful. it really makes you realise that there is a tiny baby in there!

sarahsbump · 10/11/2005 09:26

babybelly - i've booked in with the midwife and had a couple of scans, got another next week, can't wait. don't get worrying about tomorrow, you'll be fine.

Welcome sarahsbump, congrats!
