5 weeks ago we lost our beautiful girl Tia. She was mearly 4 months old and the sunshine of my life. Her eyes would light the sky at night, and now our baby girl is gone.

I will be haunted forever by my last glimpse of her beautiful face

You poor thing, my heart goes out to you. I dont know how you must be feeling never having gone through something like this. But I gasped when I saw your headline and cried when I read your post.

Take care of yourself x

I am so so sorry that your baby Tia died. I cried all the way through reading this thread.

I can't imagine the pain you and your family are going through having to leave your baby girl behind when you want to hold her.

Thinking of you and your beautiful baby girl.

mumblecrumble · 11/10/2008 20:27

thinking of you. makes me sick to think of your loss, you don;t deserve it

She will always be your baby and always be with you

cali · 11/10/2008 20:41

Have come across this before,

Time has taken me from you,
Although not very far.
I'll be watching through the sunshine
And through the brightest star.

I'll be watching all of you,
From the heavens up above.
So take good care of each other
And carry all my love.

If you're ever wondering
If I'm there, here's where you can start.
Take a look inside yourself
Deep within your heart.

I'll always be your baby,
Your child, your best friend.
So anytime you need me,
Close your eyes I'm back again.

thinking of you all, c x

Tiamummy

I understand, sadly, the raw agony you are feeling at the moment. It is a physical pain, isn't it?

I just want you to know that, as impossible as it will feel at the moment, you will get to a point where you are not in constant pain.

It won't be soon, but it will happen.

Three and a half years ago I was in agony. My face was swollen for weeks from constant tears and I couldn't imagine that those tears would ever stop coming. But they do.

I'd echo what people have said about allowing yourself to grieve. Talk to us whenever you need to. I found that there was always someone here when I needed to let it all out.

You have a long road ahead but you will get there. When I think of my son now the pain is as acute as when he died - but it is now a short stabbing pain, instead of the torture I felt at the time and it happens a hundred times less frequently.

Shitemum · 11/10/2008 21:17

TrixieVix · 12/10/2008 05:51

I've cried reading all the way through this thread.

I've been up since 4.30am because I can't sleep due to stress I'm experiencing at work at the moment - reading your thread has made me realise how trivial my problems are in comparison. It's put things in perspective for me - I feel a real heal for taking my stress out on my little boy before he went to bed last night - never again will I let stupid work stuff affect how I am with him, instead I will look at him and think how lucky I am to have him.

Tiasmummy - I am so so sorry for your loss. Maybe you were put on this earth to be Tia's mummy. She will never know the evils of this world and I'm sure she died happy and content having been surrounded by your love. I know words are no real comfort, but know that you are in my thoughts.

littlestrawberry · 12/10/2008 06:44

Tiamummy, I am so sorry for you loss

littlestrawberry · 12/10/2008 06:44

Tiamummy, I am so sorry for you loss

fedupandisolated · 12/10/2008 07:45

I am so sorry to hear this Tiasmummy. I know that nothing anybody says here can take away the pain you must be feeling.

There are several Mums here who have been through the same loss that you have experienced and they will understand how you are feeling. I know that won't make you feel any better but at least you can be sure they will know the feelings.

Tia was so lucky to have you as a Mummy during her life. She knew warmth, love, safety, contentment and happiness.

It's such a short time which has passed so far. You will learn to cope with these feelings but it doesn't happen overnight. You won't ever forget your daughter and you will always feel sad about her but the intense feelings will become easier to cope with as time passes.

God Bless you both and Tia.
