We are all thinking of you today, and sending love and .

I also wanted to post this for you - I heard this poem/prayer at a funeral once and thought it was beautiful. I'm not religious, but the sentiment in it is so peaceful:

Lord,
it is night.

The night is for stillness.
Let us be still in the presence of God.

It is night after a long day.
What has been done has been done;
what has not been done has not been done;
let it be.

The night is dark.
Let our fears of the darkness of the world and of our own lives
rest in you.

The night is quiet.
Let the quietness of your peace enfold us,
all dear to us,
and all who have no peace.

The night heralds the dawn.
Let us look expectantly to a new day,
new joys,
new possibilities.

In your name we pray.
Amen.

I hope you'll read this thread, sobsanta. I don't want to tag you not to disturb your private time right now, but just know that we're all here with you, holding you up today and going forward. I’ve only just seen this thread today. My heart goes out to you sobsanta, I can’t begin to imagine your pain on the loss of your beautiful girl. I’m thinking of you all and wishing you strength and love today

Sending you love and strength today. I only saw your original thread last night and I was absolutely heartbroken for you and your family and of course, your beautiful, beautiful little girl, Wyatt.
I can’t begin to imagine the pain you must have felt and still be feeling now.

So many of us are thinking about Wyatt and her family today. As parents, we sometimes think about the future and imagine a time when our children will be living after we’ve gone, but none of us imagine it the other way round: living after our children have gone. The world feels such a brutal place at times. There are no answers but I hope sobsanta and her family can find some peace in the knowledge that everything Wyatt brought into their lives outweighs the darkness.
