My beautiful baby died this morning , I don't want to live , I just need my baby back

We nearly lost him and I had an emergency c-section due to he's heart rate and I've been blessed with every minute he's been with us . He is an absolute angel and I held him constantly . I just want to smell him again , and never let him go .

Oh god that is a terrible terrible loss. What a hard time for you sweetheart how did it happen? Was your baby unwell?
How old are your other DCs? They are the only consolation that will lift you and DH out of this pit of grief one day. That day will come surely. And you will have your baby with you always in your heart. You are doing great already to come here and talk to us. Just hang in there.

I'm so sorry to hear about Oakley, your beautiful baby.

Of course you do, when Dd2 died, I didn't know I could visit her at the mortuary. Before her funeral I got to see and hold her again, she had been gone a week by that point and I was scared. I needn't have been, she was just as beautiful as ever. I treasure those memories just as much as any other.

I have half a locket and she has the other half. We are forever connected. Someone told me that a mother has cells from her children permanently inside her. A little bit of Oakley will forever be with you

We have ds1 12 , dd ,10 ,ds2 ,6 dd 5 , ds3 1 and Oakley

No he wasn't unwell just a sniffly nose , I woke up in the middle of night and he was gone , my dad was here and he was giving him cpr and then the paramedics but he couldn't be saved .
I think I've gone numb and dh is finally asleep and the bereavement lines are all closed . I want to rip myself into shreds and don't want to live but I know I have to for the other babies so I came on here

Oakley was obviously loved very much. Why do these bloody things happen? Makes no sense.
