How do I tell my daughter?

I had a miscarriage on Monday and my Granny died on Monday night. We told my daughter at Christmas that I was pregnant and she has been soo excited. She was aware that my Granny was sick. I am having trouble coping at the moment and she keeps asking me loads of questions which is understandable. What do I say to her? She'll be devestated by both.

I like McCain too. I'm a bit concerned about his ripe old age though. Memories of Reagan and the early stages of alzheimers come to mind. But, his military background certainly gets my respect. I'd like to see a Camander in Chief with some credentials in the military.

I would like to see someone who is fiscally conservative, but leave his Christian beliefs out of his political life. Like, stem cell research. I'm not in support of Bush on that one.

PaulaPB, I'm so sorry to hear of your losses, hugs to you and your dd. Don't have any advice to add as people here have given some good advice.

I also want a fiscal conservative but probably someone who is socially conservative as well. Even though I am a Christian I don't agree with the way Bush has made it sound like his war in Iraq has been sanctioned by God. I think there has to be a seperation.

So, when and where are you going camping?

Paula-been reading this thread but just not posted till now.
just wanted to say how sorry I am for your losses and that I think you handled telling your daughter incredibly well.

Thinking of you and hoping the pain eases.

Speak for yourself Paula. If I get some of those American treats then they are mine mine mine.

We're planning on going in April but we don't know where yet. Northern Ireland has some beautiful spots but we might try Scotland we just don't know.

Thankyou SickJealousandWicked I appreciate that.
