TERRIBLE NEWS FROM YORKIEGIRL

Yorkiegirl has phoned me from holiday in Portugal; her husband Nigel has collapsed and died tonight.
She thinks it was a stroke or heart attack.
The authorities are trying to get hold of her parents - they are also in Portugal
Fortunately, neither of her DDs saw anything
I don't know much more than that but will post if I have anything else

god i really want to give you a cuddle right now..never realised i could feel so much sadness for someone ive never met although you have been such a wonderful 'friend' on mumsnet.
i really hope you and your children are ok considering(sorry that sounds terrible, of course you're not..sorry ..great big cuddles to you all.

So sorry to hear of this terrible tragedy. YG you once sent me a lovely swap parcel and I felt such warmth from you even though we'd never met. I hope that now when you need it you get all the warmth and care you have given returned to you.

I really don't know what to say... everything I type seems inappropriate. So very sorry for your loss. I remember seeing these words just after I lost my mum and they've stuck with me so I thought I'd pass them on. 'God saw the ruged pathway was becoming hard to climb so he closed those weary eyelids and whispered peace be thine'. Take care of each other xxxx
