My four-year-old told me that he'd asked the dinner lady at school if he could have pasta rather than roast dinner for lunch but couldn't "because it was for the hungarians"

DD asked for chicken yoghurts in a restaurant one day which had me very confused until she explained to me that it was what she had when she was with her cousins -chicken nuggets .
She also refers to things as inscusting (disgusting).

My dd when she was little called Broccoli "bollix" very embarrassing in Sainsburys and my ds says he'll "be after me" if I'm ill instead of look after me.

they sound so cute i haven't the cold heart to correct her

my sister used to say sketchels for seychelles and my brother used to say berkels for my mom's cigarettes.

DD1 4.5yrs still calls a trampoline a 'jumpaline' and daddy is always working on his 'pooter'.

She used to call a sieve a 'fizz' and flip flops 'flop flops' Sad that she doesn't say these any more cos quite cute.

When we were peeling an orange once she did ask me if I would 'take the pith' DH and I had trouble keeping a straight face.

DM does this all the time, the current favourite is that Marco Pierre White is 'Marco Polo White'

LOL, some of these are brilliant!

My DS 3..."Look mummy theres a robert in the garden" = Robin red breast in the garden! lol!

yogart = ogart
tomato sauce = mato de sauce (no joke)
His second name is mckenzie = Dakenzie
apple - napple
The list goes on...

He also sings blah blah black sheep, but sings the last few lines "one for the master, one for today and one for the little boy who lives down the drain" lol!

DD1 always used to call the kitchen "the chicken." And the utility room was the "tivity room."

He cant pronounce cucumber, and instead call it a computer

ribena - lambeena - which sounds like he is saying lamb bhuna
