DS1 (5 ) was angry with me for refusing to stand in the middle of the road while he finished his long story about the Power Rangers' gatekeeper. In the car going home:
DS1: Well, your parents are much more funner than you anyway!
Me: I'm sorry, DS1, but I didn't want to get run over
DS1pause). If you got run over, I'd just get another Mummy. And I know who I'd choose - Nanny. And if Daddy gets run over I choose Grandpa.

DS2 (4 -autistic and just learning to talk)
