Denial is not a river in Egypt.
Dh and I are coming from very different places
Me - Gabriel, Xaviere, Christian, Fabian
Dh - Robert, John, Garry, Lee

It just ain't going to happen is it? Can anybody think of something? Anything? Our other two are Alexandra and Theo.

Louis
Flynn
Saxon
Jasper
Asher
Sebastian (Seb for short)

Good luck!

MrsBarbaraKingstanding · 24/08/2009 21:23

How about Gregory?

I love Kit bt am 'meh' about Finn.

NotanOtter · 24/08/2009 21:27

Not keen on Finn tbh

if i did not have a similar sounding name i would definitely have a Pasha by now

baskingseals · 24/08/2009 21:36

Thanks guys - really helpful suggestions. I love Asa but really can't have it because of surname which is very similiar. Also love Arlo as well as Nico, but worry they are too similiar to Theo. This is so hard. I wonder if I can wear him down.Hmm. Don't have a lot of puppy power atm. Oh dh's mum has got a great uncle Claude. Which cracks me up, I'm not allowed Gabriel, but I can have Claude, because of some random uncle, yes that really makes sense. I also like Valentine. There's just no hope is there?

ooooh i have it

Etienne

thisisyesterday · 24/08/2009 21:40

Nico really is fab though, DS3 is 9 weeks old and despite me being the one that wanted Asa, I am having second thoughts and thinking of changing it to Nico.

baskingseals · 24/08/2009 21:40

Notanotter - wow, that's a real coincidence, do you still like Alexandra or do you wish you'd gone for something shorter and more flowery?

how about Roman?
Caius?
Clement?

thisisyesterday · 24/08/2009 21:41

Noam

iliketurquoise · 24/08/2009 21:42

torres.

NotanOtter · 24/08/2009 21:48

Basking

Go for Claude

Definitely - very 'sweet' perfect for number 3

Alexandra now calls herself a shortened version - made famous by the actor now known as Borat

I am hoping now she has started to read Vogue she will return to Alexandra which i still love

baskingseals · 24/08/2009 21:56

I can't go for Claude, I just can't. I wish I could. Are you being serious?(just checking!)
thisisyesterday I would so stick with Asa , I really would, it's a beautiful name, in fact I'm really jealous of your names. How did you both decide on Gabriel? Please give me some top tips.

MrsBarbaraKingstanding · 24/08/2009 21:57

I think Claude is lovely.

NotanOtter · 24/08/2009 22:02

yes deadly serous it is dreamy

dp would not do Gabriel so we middle named it

thisisyesterday · 24/08/2009 22:04

i dunno, i just got lucky that dp liked Gabriel, it seems a lot of men really don't like it.

dp i believe was swayed in part by penny arcade

i do i really vote Claude and i spent a lot of my life mooting baby names

thisisyesterday · 24/08/2009 22:10

how about Josiah? i like that

my fave is still Etienne tho, i wanted it but my surname is stephens, so it wouldn't really have worked

kittymax · 24/08/2009 22:37

Hi hun

Congrats on your freshly laid bundle, oooh I wish i could have a cuddle, and the smell of newborns......you're making me broody.

Anyway, has anyone mentioned
Isaac
Moses
Jeremiah

Mine are Zachary (shortened to Zach) and Dane. I'm really into Spanish names at the mo, so I'd choose Fernando, Diego, Pablo, Lucas or something like that.

Hope you find something you both like soon.

NotanOtter · 24/08/2009 22:52

Ferdinand always on my list kitty..Pablo has been too!

Another of your names gets my vote

NotanOtter · 24/08/2009 23:03

Winston?

PuppyLoves · 24/08/2009 23:08

Love winston

Chunkamatic · 24/08/2009 23:21

I think you should go for Finn. Lovely name, I know a little Finn and he is very gentle and sweet. Goes well with your other two. I like boy's names that are 1 syllable, for some reason!

Good luck whatever you decide!!

angrypixie · 24/08/2009 23:21

Isaac
Seth

Loving Christopher-Kit,
I wanted Gabriel-Gabe really, really badly but was vetoed by dh. I tried to wear him down but he won by asking me to choose any 6 of our male friends and ring them for their opinion. I did, thinking I'd chosen our coolest boy buddies and they all were dead set against it

diddl · 25/08/2009 07:49

I suggested Arlo, I love it.
Alexandra, Theo & Arlo?
They go,don´t they?
