Rita has always been a "strong" name IMO, although it's obv not tomboyish.

i have a friend who's a Kris, (hers is Kriss-Anne, but you could do Christina or the variations)

I like fred and Frankie too.
(especially Francesca cos if she decides that she wants to be posh or girlie, then it's a beautiful name)

DD middle name is Jude. I think that is quite tomboyish.
