Spunky, lively, or tomboy names for girls? Any ideas?
I'm thinking along the lines of

Storm
Tempest
Stevie
Jessie
Alexi
Regan
Morgan
Jade
Blais
Roxy
Hayden
Vita/Zita
Blak e
Saskia? (i think i'm hearing 'sassy' in this lol. Still sounds like a lively person though.)

Any others that you'd associate? Even if they are more traditional names that for you conjure this sort of image.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I knew two sisters called Stevie and Jerry, unusual names and very cool girls.

SpawnChorus · 26/06/2009 17:02

Frankie is a wonderful name.

LOL at "spunky"

SpawnChorus · 26/06/2009 17:03

Rita has always been a "strong" name IMO, although it's obv not tomboyish.

SpawnChorus · 26/06/2009 17:04

Juno is also good.

Is this for a novel?

Otherwise sod's law says you'll have a sweet, pink, princessy girl

missismac · 26/06/2009 17:09

Kesta (Kezzy, Kez, etc.)
Matilda (Matty, Tilda)
I like Stevie & Jerry too.

Heated · 26/06/2009 17:09

Jojay, I agree Meg is fab.

Concur also with Robin

Phillipa
Rowan
Alix
Zara
Tora
Bobbi
Teddi - Theodora
Syd - Sydney

Tidey · 26/06/2009 17:12

Paige
Bailey
Piper
Jamie
Tegan

I'm not saying I like any of those particularly but they sound quite tomboyish to me.

nickelbabe · 26/06/2009 17:15

i'm an andrea and i was a tomboy.
and it can be shortened to andy/andi

i have a friend who's a Kris, (hers is Kriss-Anne, but you could do Christina or the variations)

I like fred and Frankie too.
(especially Francesca cos if she decides that she wants to be posh or girlie, then it's a beautiful name)

shivermetimbers · 26/06/2009 17:15

DD middle name is Jude. I think that is quite tomboyish.

SpawnChorus · 26/06/2009 17:20

Oh, I knew a very cool Adrienne and a fabulously wild Catkin.

TsarChasm · 26/06/2009 17:21
