Help I’m 39 weeks pregnant

Just now considering Phoebe… I love the nicknames Pheebs and Bea.

Would Alys work as a middle name?

My husband is not sure because he thinks of Phoebe Buffay - but I think that’s just because he doesn’t know any other Phoebes! I have a friend called Pheobe and think of her when I hear the name instead.

You've picked a great name! Love it 😊

I don’t like the sound and it does remind me of “feeble”

Isn’t “phobe” a fear of something?

Giraffehaver · 05/02/2026 22:20

Tbh it always reminds me of the film Guest House Paradiso..." Pheeeb one boiled egg" which I realise is very niche but I cant get past it

Phobia!

But that made me laugh. Maybe that's vaguely fuelling my "feeble" association too!

It's not a bad name though OP.

Rockyhorrors · 16/02/2026 13:52
