Which middle name goes best with Agnes?

Looking for a middle name for Agnes and was wondering what the general public thinks of these:

As you can see from the poll I have a thing for names that start with an E 😜

This. I don’t think it’s pretty at all. An old lady name. I would use Elise and put Agnes second. Just my opinion.

Sorry, but I agree with the PPs who think Agnes is a hard and harsh sounding name. We had a teacher at school called Agnes and her name was shortened to Aggie, which is even worse. The other names you’ve chosen are lovely.

Agnes Louise is nicer than Agnes E--. - the e-E is jarring.

@ResusciAnnie Lovisa is a high street jewellery shop but as a name it’s the Scandinavian/germanic form of Louise.

From your lists, I'd discount Essie and Iris immediately.

Well to be fair mine was on all my professional documentation and on my regulators website so it came up a lot! I ended up having to sign an affidavit so it could be removed as they wouldn’t otherwise
