Girl name - Navy

Is the girl name ‘Navy’ just a bit nuts?

When I first heard it I thought it was ridiculous, but now I kind of like it. The thought of shouting ‘Navy’ across the park is a bit silly though isn’t it?

What shall we do with a drunken sailor!! Nah, file under something ok in passing. Sounds trendy and harmless. Both meaningless and militaristic.

I think it was originally, then people did start to use it as a name. It's not one I'm super fond of, but then I quite like a very classic name.

Call her 'Puce' then.

You could always go for Nava, beautiful name, but people would assume your child is Jewish/Israeli.
