My cousin just named her baby daughter 'Persephone'

What do you think. It's a bit out there. I know she wanted a long feminine and unusual name. I think it's nice but it's a bit long.

It's a bit of a mouthful. She's already calling her by the nickname 'Seph'.

It a nice classic unusual name.
Very surprised how many people don't know it from the Greek myth, I thought it was quite a well known story.

There's also Chloe, Calliope, Ariadne, Daphne, Phoebe, Aphrodite, Hermione, Zoe... All the same pronunciation

I was very ill informed about Greek Mythology until I went to uni! I suppose it depends what kind of school you went to and when.
