Thoughts on Lorna? Do you know any?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

MistyHazelFox · 13/07/2024 21:43

I like Lorna, don't know any.

MrsStottlemeyer · 13/07/2024 21:47

I always think it's a bit gloomy. I prefer Laura.

LornaDuh · 13/07/2024 21:51

You called? 😊

I like it. Classic and likely to be the only one in the class!

BruceWillissDribble · 13/07/2024 21:57

Its a bit Welsh

stickygotstuck · 13/07/2024 21:57

Nice name.

The only Lorna I know is 29.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 13/07/2024 21:58

I know of one and she’s in her 30s.

salamithumbs · 13/07/2024 21:59

I like it! There was one in my year I'm school so she'd be 30 now...also met an 80 something year old recently called Lorna. So I wouldn't associate it with any particular generation

salamithumbs · 13/07/2024 22:00

It's not- it's Scottish.

Holidaaaaay · 13/07/2024 22:02

It's alright. Know one Lorna, 50s I guess.

Abracadabra12345 · 13/07/2024 22:02

It's gorgeous

DowntonCrabby · 13/07/2024 22:02

A good friend in her 50’s and an 11 old school friend of DS. It’s a classic and really lovely.

Doublebubblegum · 13/07/2024 22:02

Lorna to me is like Brian or Gary or Sharon. Not something I'd choose.

Dazedandconfusedma · 13/07/2024 22:03

My mum’s a lorna! In her 70s. I think it’s a lovely name.

😂

Op I really like it, i know one who is my age (mid 40s) and no little ones.

BigBoysDontCry · 13/07/2024 22:05

It's one of my favourites, the youngest one I know is mid 20s.

It always feels like it belongs on a dark haired girl to me for some reason.

Youmustbejoking01 · 13/07/2024 22:21

I know one, in her 40s. Her erosion is spelled Launa. Makes me think Lorna Doone.

aintnospringchicken · 13/07/2024 22:37

I know 2. One is in her 80s and the other is early 60s.
I don't know any young women/ girls called Lorna

ButtonMoonBlanketSky · 13/07/2024 23:48

Don't know any but love this name. Think it's really classy and elegant.
