Probably Charlotte, I think.

6 y o me: Joanne
8 y o me: Jennifer
10 y o me: Jenna
12 y o me: Elizabeth
14 y o me: Isobel

The names definitely got better! 😂

My actual DD (born in my 30s) has none of these names….

Katy, Lucy, Paloma or Vada. Close contenders would've been Araminta or Crystal spelled as Kristal 🙈
My children are probably lucky I didn't have them until my 30s or pregnancy hormones would've meant Araminta and Kristal would probably have won 😂

I always remember my sister proudly telling our neighbour what she'd named her pet fish, and our neighbour responding with "well heaven help your children when they come along!" 🤣
Can't even remember the name but it was definitely outlandish!

I was obsessed with Oscar Wilde as a teenager, always wanted a son called Oscar ....many years later, my eldest DS is indeed called Oscar, he is now 18, and I still love the name ❤️

Oh just realised I forgot boy names.
Ross (after the boy I liked in school), Neill (after another boy I liked) or Xander just cos it looked cool 😎

Elizabeth, Natasha or Stephanie. I never even thought about boys' names (and we have all boys!)

Alchemella or Amaryllis for a girl. Had a thing for plant names.
My choice in boys names was rather boring in comparison and we did use that name with dc1. Dc2 is not an Alchemella or an Amaryllis.

Chantelle. Seemed impossibly glamorous to my mind in the mid 80s.

Baxter

I was convinced, boy I girl I'd name my first child Baxter. No idea why, or where I heard it, or why I fell in love with it.
I did not name my child (any of them) Baxter!
