Atlanta

there was a singer who named his daughter this and I remember thinking it was beautiful. None of my children are called this thankfully.

I also loved Chelsea!

sukiwh · 12/05/2023 07:11

I loved Ocean for a girl. Like PP, didn’t consider boys names!

OldTinHat · 12/05/2023 07:12

Michael.

I'm 51 now and have a Michael!

teezletangler · 12/05/2023 07:13

Courtney Love was my idol as a 90s teen and I wanted to name a daughter after her (I had two of them and I didn't!).

I also remember loving Paige and Raina as a child. I think I found boys' names irrelevant!

Cincinnatus · 12/05/2023 07:14

Erin

Pralineandcoffee · 12/05/2023 07:27

Jessica, I didn't even consider I might have a boy!

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 12/05/2023 07:28

Morrissey

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 12/05/2023 07:29

Luckily I was a little bit older than 16 when I had my first DC. Plus, Morrissey has not aged well, really. Now he’s a great raging racist, ho hum.

90stalgia · 12/05/2023 07:35

Probably something ridiculously OTT gothic, like Morticia for a girl or Dracula for a boy 😂

Nubnut · 12/05/2023 07:38

Zoe!!!

YouHeardTheRumoursFromInes · 12/05/2023 07:47

I remember loving the names Stephanie, Rose and Crystal for a girl and the names George and Charlie for boys! I actually listed them in the back of a notebook I still have, along with potential middle names Grin I have 3 dc and didn't use any of them.

Ikeatears · 12/05/2023 08:32

I actually have an old diary with lists of boys and girls names 🙈 I must dig it out. I suspect something like Lucy though

JeannieAlogy · 12/05/2023 08:37

16 year old me would have gone for something like Krystelle, Zhiselle or Aloyisuis.

StevieNicksfan · 12/05/2023 08:39

Just realised I've only given girls names, like other posters I never imagined having a boy. Years later, two boys, no girls!

Cosycover · 12/05/2023 08:39

Valerie 😂

PinkOrangeTulip · 12/05/2023 08:42

I always wanted a girl & decided she would be called Wendy.
I also wanted a boy and said he’d be called Jared. ( I had a big crush on Jared Leto after watching My So Called Life)

I have both a dd and dd - neither are called Wendy or Jared🤣
(thankfully my crush on Mr.Leto left the building along time ago)

uhtredbebbanburg · 12/05/2023 08:42

10 year old me would have been Diana (showing my age!)

MrsBungle · 12/05/2023 08:45

Renee. I thought it was so glamorous!

ZeroFuchsGiven · 12/05/2023 08:49

15 year old me did have, and named my son Jason.

ThomasinaLivesHere · 12/05/2023 09:24

I really liked the name Star. I’m not sure where I got it from but I had that in mind for a while 😂

Jonnycakes · 12/05/2023 09:28

Lilac and morganna. No boys names although I Iater had 2 boys. Thankfully when my name choices were better!

SimonsCow · 12/05/2023 09:31

I loved Megan and Amy. Didn’t think I’d need any boys names- and I was right. 3 girls and not for one second did I consider calling any of them Megan or Amy

CakeBeautifulCake · 12/05/2023 09:32

Sian and Siobhan. Very exotic looking names in my young mind. Except I'd never heard how they were pronounced so it'd be Si-anne and See-oh-ban. Went through a Brionny(?!) stage too. Brooklyn was another favourite when I was around 18. Glad I outgrew all those!

Corkcobain · 12/05/2023 09:36

Alyssa or Libby - I was obsessed with what I at the time thought was american style popular/cheerleader/cool girl names 🤣
