Atlanta

there was a singer who named his daughter this and I remember thinking it was beautiful. None of my children are called this thankfully.

I loved Ocean for a girl. Like PP, didn’t consider boys names!

I'm 51 now and have a Michael!

Courtney Love was my idol as a 90s teen and I wanted to name a daughter after her (I had two of them and I didn't!).

I also remember loving Paige and Raina as a child. I think I found boys' names irrelevant!

Jessica, I didn't even consider I might have a boy!

Luckily I was a little bit older than 16 when I had my first DC. Plus, Morrissey has not aged well, really. Now he’s a great raging racist, ho hum.

Probably something ridiculously OTT gothic, like Morticia for a girl or Dracula for a boy 😂

I remember loving the names Stephanie, Rose and Crystal for a girl and the names George and Charlie for boys! I actually listed them in the back of a notebook I still have, along with potential middle names Grin I have 3 dc and didn't use any of them.

I actually have an old diary with lists of boys and girls names 🙈 I must dig it out. I suspect something like Lucy though

16 year old me would have gone for something like Krystelle, Zhiselle or Aloyisuis.

Just realised I've only given girls names, like other posters I never imagined having a boy. Years later, two boys, no girls!

I always wanted a girl & decided she would be called Wendy.
I also wanted a boy and said he’d be called Jared. ( I had a big crush on Jared Leto after watching My So Called Life)

I have both a dd and dd - neither are called Wendy or Jared🤣
(thankfully my crush on Mr.Leto left the building along time ago)

I loved Megan and Amy. Didn’t think I’d need any boys names- and I was right. 3 girls and not for one second did I consider calling any of them Megan or Amy

Sian and Siobhan. Very exotic looking names in my young mind. Except I'd never heard how they were pronounced so it'd be Si-anne and See-oh-ban. Went through a Brionny(?!) stage too. Brooklyn was another favourite when I was around 18. Glad I outgrew all those!

Alyssa or Libby - I was obsessed with what I at the time thought was american style popular/cheerleader/cool girl names 🤣
