What do you think of Amelia- Rose, Tabitha or Matilda (tilly)

Just wondering what you all thought of Amelia Rose (millie) or Tabitha or Matilda (tilly). We like them all really. We want somthing classy and traditional.

I have a Matilda (Tilda) and she is magic. Everyone we meet loves the name but lots of people starting to use it now...damn them

I love the name Matilda, and the nickname Tilly - that is top of our list if we do ever have second girl.

I also like Amelia Rose a lot.

Not as keen on Tabitha.

I really like Matilda, but not Tilly, not keen on Amelia Rose, I like Tabitha but wouldn't choose it myself.

Tabitha lovely and Tabby or Tabs quite cute for short. Milly and Tilly are way too popular.

Yes, Miss Tabitha Twichet from Beatrix Potter was a cat. I still like it though. A little girl has that name at my daughters nursery and she is lovely.

We are only trying at the moment. My sister in law is expecting and is talking about names, so it's got us thinking.

Matilda was my first choice for DD2 but my cousin had a dd not long before me and took it, so I opted for Tabitha for my dd2, so those two I love she gets called Tabby alot, and people never fail to compare to bewitched, which isn't such a bad thing as it's the only namesake people can think of as it's pretty rare.

Lovely, lovely names. I love matilda and the name will be high on our lists if we have another DD. DD's middle name is Amelia, very pretty.
