Depends whether you're having a 50 year old?

Some names aren't due a revival and Keith is one of them.

monsteramunch · 18/12/2022 02:21

What are you other kids called?

Photosymphysis · 18/12/2022 02:55

I love Keith as a name!

I know a teenage Keith. Should be more of them. Bring back Keith!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 18/12/2022 03:11

"Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith".

Maybe if you have Norwegian heritage and are big Eurovision fans?

SafariRushHour · 18/12/2022 03:12

Heath

Nigel, Derek & Linda.

Have the midwives said he'll probably come out with a wife and kids? If so then yeah perfect

User65412 · 18/12/2022 03:21

I actually know a 2yo Keith. He's adorable but I can't get past his name! Still doesn't feel right saying it but I don't know why. Lots of people love it and it always sparks lots of discussion!

thekoalawhocouldnt · 18/12/2022 03:24

Keir instead?

MrsElm · 18/12/2022 03:27

It's better than Luckey-Buoy 🤣

Dustyblue · 18/12/2022 03:30

Oh some of you are so mean! 😀

OP, my grandpa was William Keith, my Dad is Graham Keith and my son is Declan Keith.

Go forth I say!

pelargoniums · 18/12/2022 03:46

I think all that hard work of pregnancy and labour only to then go and name your baby Keith. Poor tiny fucker.

Lmgify · 18/12/2022 03:57

I like it! It’s a decent name but just not on trend right now

Sigh. I love your user name, but you are being most unpleasant to a family name I felt utterly compelled to use.

It's not that bad. Truly. And it's a middle name.

If I told you my DP's name, I fear your head would explode and frighten your children (who have far better names)

Just joking 😂

allthelittlelights · 18/12/2022 04:52

Cheggers.

allthelittlelights · 18/12/2022 04:52

(God rest his soul)

merrymelodies · 18/12/2022 05:11

Keef!

PeaceJoySleep · 18/12/2022 05:16

There are two at my work> it's so forty something. It's not a bad name on a Forty something man but for a baby it's a bit stale.

Barefootinthecarpark · 18/12/2022 06:04

Love it!

Ha ha. That thread is amazing. It's like the twilight zone.

YES to Keith!

If you want an utterly original sound solid name, that no other kid will have, it needs to be old school ... Chris, John, Graham etc. There are millions of Jack's and Olivers and names like Storm, Zeus, River etc are trying so hard to be original, that they're anything but.

I'd have full respect for the parents of a "Keith".

Breasc · 18/12/2022 06:47

Ek

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 18/12/2022 06:48

It was my beautiful Dad's name and he was the best Dad in the world....... I still wouldn't saddle a child with it as a first name but would consider a middle name.
