Having a hard time choosing. I like Autumn and DH likes Rose. But not keen on either as it sounds like a description rather than a name. Open to any and all suggestions

Storm is a much safer choice of name and unlike what pp have said, I would associate the name with X-men. (Halle Berry played the character ) Marvel is reviving X-men in the near future so I think her contemporaries will associate her with that character rather than Ronan Keating's wife. (My teenagers haven't got a clue who RK is)

According to Wikipedia her name is Sharyn Storm. Of course, she might have edited the entry herself, but it does seem on the basis of that that Storm is legitimately one of her forenames from birth.

Fair enough. I do enjoy that it’s preceded by Sharyn though 😁

For seafaring nations, throughout history fair weather and the fortune of breeze to the sails was a matter of life or death to the crew. This is a dramatic version of that I suppose.

@OP I prefer established nature names, however this isn’t it, and Stormi is way too connected to the Kardashians, worse still, many people’s brains will jump to the soundclip of her affronted mother saying “Stormiiiii, you look like Mommiiii babiiii ”. She unintentionally sounds like Miss Piggy. Google it. You won’t be able to get out of your mind for days.

Instead, what about Tempest if you like the string connotations of a storm.

Or what about Alizé or Alizée which means trade wind/tropical wind with reference to seas, sailing, and positive nautical connotations. A well established French name, it has many namesakes, including James Middleton’s wife.

Am I the only one who thought Stormzy then Storm off Down on The Farm, not a Kardashian? I mean if we can't do Jenner or Kardashian names, I guess Penelope is out too!

Penelope is somewhat downgraded by the Kardashian association but there is legend behind it.

Similarly, the day Robbie Williams named his daughter Theodora, was an awful day. She is likely to be heavily promoted in the near future, hopefully not gurning with a vast ego to match.
