Can't have Alice, Rosalie or Amelie.

Considering Adeline, Ophelia and Genevieve. Any others? Any favourites? Or any like strong and beautiful names that aren't french that go with this style?

Most obvious would be Joan - not sure of the French form but guess it would be Jeanne.. Also love Nadège. Delphine? perhaps too pretty?

I knew a fabulous woman called Magali, which I think is a great name.
I love Genevieve when said in a French accent.

After checking, Lydia is Greek rather than French Blush

Sorry OP I meant to add that your name suggestions are lovely! I love Genevieve, and Ginny as nn. Adeline is gorgeous. Ophelia is absolutely beautiful in its long form. But it does have the unfortunate potential to be shortened to Feely and sometimes idiots say ' I'll feel ya'.

Lindy2 · 29/09/2021 14:40

I've always liked Elodie.

I've only recently heard of the name Manon but I rather like that too.

Another one for Marianne - is that not the name they give to some of the national statues of women in France

@BreakfastOfWaffles

Agnes and Margot are nice Not French but might fit the bill - Ines
I think Ines is the French form of Inez (Spanish)? It's a fabulous name.
