Middle name for River

Hi all. After considering middle names for Ada I'm also thinking about first name River. Any MN suggestions? Thanks x

Future 50 year old River will be surrounded by other 50 year olds, with other 'unusual' names. By the time they all get to 50, people will have become used to a plethora of names that aren't 'Louise' and 'Claire'

There’s a River Lee in Essex. It’s also rhyming slang for tea.

I got Chi in my head when I saw the title perhaps zia or noa would work well too

I think which ever name you choose to go with River - it would be wise to Google it to check it's not an actual place. ( or if it is it's a nice place ?!)
Kids are so strong willed these days, that if she isn't as fond of it as you are I guess she'll change it.

It's actually a very very old name, and it's not an uncommon name these days.

Not all nouns make suitable names but some, like River, work very well. It’s not as if the OP is considering calling her daughter Toaster, Kettle, or Remote Control. That said, River Toaster has a certain ring to it and if she went for Remote Control she could always use Hoofer Doofer as a nickname.

I really like River as a name, I instantly of course think of River Phoenix but I can see this being a lovely name for a girl. When I think about it I'm not sure I would like it as much for a boy but yes, it's a beautiful name.
