Lily or Alice please pick one

Love both names and struggling to decide. Which would you choose? x

I love Alice - it’s one of my faves, though DP isn’t quite as keen. Lily is lovely too, but Alice has the edge for me.

My nanna was Lily and Great Aunt Alice, both wonderful ladies, you could use both. Or have Lally 😆

I absolutely love both of them, so I'm not much help.

If you really put me on the spot and made me choose I'd say Lily, because it works with my surname while Alice unfortunately doesn't.

Lily is currently very popular, Alice mediumly so (as ever). I think both are lovely names.

Alice - stronger/less girly, more timeless and has more varied heritage and namesakes.

I prefer it anyway, but also there are so many Lilys around that she'll always be one of a few. There's a good chance she'll be the only Alice.

I have an Alice so I'm all for that. It's timeless. Lily is nice too though very common at the moment.

Alice is lovely and both feminine and strong without being too popular imo. It was on our shortlist for DD!

I like both. I find Alice a little bland, but it’s certain a classic. Lily, while nice, is dated to me - I know a few, all in their mid-20s. I think its revival time has been and gone..

Alice definitely. Or Alisa...

You can't go wrong with either so perhaps when you meet her one will feel more 'right', if that makes sense? Also does one name sound better with your surname?
