Melody Belle are both lovely names independently of each other but together they sound very twee.

I like Jaxon but would it bother you to constantly have to correct those that spell it Jackson?

I agree that Melody and Belle are both lovely but together they are too samey.

I don't like Jaxon.

I utterly detest that spelling of Jackson just why?

Would it be Melody with Belle as never used middle name or would you call her the full name? If so I agree with op both lovely on their own

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jaxon... we want Jaxon and Abel for my twins but like PP my DH doesn't like the spelling. I think it's quirky and a modern twist on an age old name. Go for it!!

I would suggest that you choose a traditional name for your girls name as well as a more unusual (like with the male option) gives the child options as they grow up, jaxon in particular is a bit marmite, the gary or Sharon of their generation potentially, give them the option of a timeless classic for cvs

Dislike Jaxon with an X, it seems very much a name that will date badly. Jackson though is nice.

Love Melody, Belle always seems to me for parents that value looks over other qualities in their daughters

I love Melody Belle but dislike Jaxon.
I knew a Melody that was shortened to Melo, she was a very cool boho type.
If you love the name Jaxon though don't ask Mumsnet as it isn't the type of name that is popular on here. Lots of people obviously like it though, choose what you love.

Melody Belle sounds like a Steamship from turn of the Century Mississippi. Like Liberty Belle.

Melody Belle really doesn't work and I don't like the spelling of Jaxon.

Melody - lovely. Belle - fine for a middle name or nn. They don't work together though due to the repeated 'el' sound. Together they also sound like a musical instrument. 'Were you playing the tubular bells? No, they're actually melody bells'.

Jaxon - as plenty of pps have said, the x spelling isn't good. Jackson isn't to my taste but there's nothing wrong with it as a name and it works well with Samuel.

Samuel is nice. Jackson (not Jaxon) is ok. Melody is quite nice. Belle is a bit twee and Melody Belle is really quite saccharine. Remember you aren't just naming a little baby or a toddler, you're naming a twenty something and a middle aged woman and maybe an old lady.

Hate Jaxon. It seems like one of those "I'm trying to be funky and interesting" names, but now they're ten a penny it just looks like a misspelling.

Jaxon (or Jackson) Samuel just shouts Samuel L Jackson to me.

Jaxon is awful but Jackson is fine.

Belle and Samual lovely, Melody twee and Jaxon, by god Jackson as a first name is bad enough, why in Gods name make it even worse by making the poor kid have to remind everybody that his name isn't spelt the usual way a hundred thousand times during his life.
